Lucky's Classic Burger & Malt Shop

We tried this place for brunch today and we are all so glad we did. The service was super friendly even though they were super busy.

The Lucky's Benedict was super delicious and the hash browns were a nice touch. The Chicken and Waffle Sammie was also very good. Good spice on the fried chicken. The review I got for the burger was that it was very flavorful.

The only part that we didn't love were the potatoes, they were just ok.

Overall seeing how busy they were and based on our experience I can see why this place does so well. A nice place to meet up and get some good food.

Nice service and great atmosphere. Located on a busy intersection, so lots of people watching can happen while eating. The food itself was fresh and cooked well. Wish they had more chicken options, like fried chicken burgers.

Came here and had a great experience and service.

They have a bar area and then a diner area with tables and chairs full diner style. Gives off kind of 50s diner vibes, especially with the jukeboxes on the table. (5 cents a song)

Our server Lauren was very nice and attentive even though it was getting busy and she was waiting other tables besides ours. The staff we interacted with in general was very friendly and helpful.

The food was great. We had the southwest burger with fries, the California burger with fries, we both had the mozzarella sticks appetizer, the Brownie Sundae and the Creme Brulee Cheesecake. Everything was very good, especially the burger it was very juicy and filling and the fries were amazing and perfectly cooked.

Will definitely be back here.

Also, there is metered street parking in front and a paid parking lot in back.

Our family had dinner here last night and everything was great--from the fried pickles to the French Onion Soup, fish tacos, club sandwich, and hamburger pasta to the kid-sized milkshakes for dessert, we loved it! Reasonably priced and NO WAIT on a Friday night when we would have spent 30 minutes in the rain on the sidewalk waiting for a table anywhere else. Try it!

Had a treat of a lunch here. Food was warm and fresh. I don’t do this much but I want to give a big shout out to my server Kelsey or should I say little moon. She had such a big and great smile I called her little moon and she must have blushed and laughed. My chow was a little late and she brought me a free refill on ginger ale, the little things can go a long way. Very kind and prompt person and made us feel comfortable and happy to be around her. Oh and she brought out the food so fast my fries had a crisp that was perfect. Thanks Kels or should I say little moon :)

me and my boyfriend were visiting stamford and came in for a quick bite, and absolutely loved it, the aura of the place was so welcoming and cute! Our server Andres was amazing and super nice! Will be back again!❤

Talk about old school dinner atmosphere! The ambiance was super cute & the food was even better. The wings were spicy, crunchy, & full of flavor. Definitely highly recommend!

The look and feel of an old school diner is what you want when craving a good ol’ cheeseburger and this place delivers! The staff are also very nice and welcoming which always makes the meal more enjoyable. Sadly, I didn’t get to try the milkshake, but I’m sure I’ll be back.

This was my first time going here and I took my family. The food was delicious. Not too much and not too little. The service was awesome, everyone so attentive. We sat outside and about 7 or 8 the lights came on, it was wonderful. My daughter loved it ! I will definitely come back again and recommend this place.

Amaizing hamburgers 🍔 and cold beer. I love the decoration is an American style. It is the first time that I go in person and the attention is good and fast. In times of pandemic they were also great allies!!! I will repeat

Great food, fabulous service, and nice food & drink choices. The milkshakes, blt and cheeseburger were all great! Stephanie, our waitress was friendly and knew how to treat customers. My husband has a brain injury and we were taken care of with smiling faces and quick and thorough service. Will definitely be back!

I'm sure everyone knows to come here for burgers, fries, ice cream sodas, malts, steaks, and shakes. But there's so much more to this place. Friendly attentive staff, affordable pricing, and very clean. Outdoor tables with portable heaters for fresh air lovers. Inside is a fully stocked bar, tastefully tucked behind the eating counter service area. Not to worry, parents... This is a very kid friendly environment. Bring the strollers. Bring the little league teams. The bar makes more milkshakes than margaritas. As for the food... Salads are amazing, and man size meals. Customize with your favorite meat or fish. Or go all veggie. Appetizers to share? Yes, please! The Rhode Island Calamari is amazing! They also have a full gamet of other favorites like onion rings, nachos, mac and cheese bites, fried pickles, bang bang shrimp, spring rolls, ribs, wings, artichoke dip, and more. Save room for the entrees. Blts, burgers, chicken, chili dogs, club sandwiches, fish and chips, mac-n-cheese (5 ways), meatballs, meatloaf, pastas, pesto, quasadillas, ruebens, ribs, salads, salmon, sandwiches, steaks, and tacos. The Brunch Menu takes over on weekends until 2 pm. Eggs, french toast, waffles, bacon, turkey bacon, hash, omelets, and benedicts are added to the main menu options. The desserts include banana splits, brownies, creme brulee cheesecake, lava cakes, pies, and sundaes. The drink options include beer, bellinis, coffee, egg creams, espresso, ice cream sodas, juices, lattes, mimosas, sangrias, sodas, ice tea, prosecco, tea, and wine. Come here on a diet or come here to feast. There are plenty of options. Eat in, eat outside, or take out. They can also provide catering for your event or party. Even the picky kids (or inlaws) will like this place. You'll all leave happy, full, and coming up with plenty of excuses to come back again soon.

The food was great.First time I've ever eaten burger and fries without having to add ketchup.The best burger place in Connecticut.

Ordered the Teriyaki Dinner to go and it was fantastic! The veggies were cooked, but still had a nice crunch, the chicken was tender, and the rice made it well balanced. There was enough teriyaki sauce and it was a very large portion! I was surprised it was so tasty because this is a burger joint. I’ll definitely have to come back next time I’m in town!

My girlfriend and I come to Lucky's on Sundays for their brunch. Bottomless Mimosas? Check! Delicious food? Check! Friendly staff? Check check! We have had their egg sandwiches, Nutella french toast, chicken and waffles sandwich, breakfast potatoes (amazing!), pancakes, and even their ice coffee is delicious! Even tho we come for brunch I can put my money on that their lunch and dinner entrees are bussin' (that means it's really good). The retro vibe of the restaurant is the cherry on top for your dining experience. If you're in the Stamford area or even want to make a little trip for some good vibes and good food, Lucky's is the spot to check out. Can't leave out the inviting and friendly manager of Lucky's the guys a legend!

The food is great and the outdoor seating is wonderful. I enjoyed all the food I had and the service was friendly and attentive. Being outdoors was a definite plus as well. Would recommend the brownie sundae for anyone with a sweet tooth!
