The staff is very nice and patient. I watched Ernie explain how to fill out a custom form over and over to several people, including me. After filled everything out, a different gentleman helped me with my package, he was also very nice and patient. I’m very thankful they didn’t make me feel like an idiot for not doing things right. 10/10 would recommend!

The employees are friendly and patient, especially given the lack of patience on the customer's part. I have stood in line for 5-10 minutes and listened to the abuse that customers have put on these employees, and when I step up to the counter I am greeted as a new person.
The rural route delivery folks that service my area are prompt and courteous. I'm actually happy when my FedEx and UPS orders are turned over to our USPS for delivery!

Could have sworn I wrote this all before, but OH USPS strikes again on being a hero to my incompetence!! I won't get into specifics but one time I believe it was Deborah pulled a miracle out of thin air and found a package that I'd been missing and had no hope of finding! And today Mike helped me find a package that had been insanely messed up through just a mix of issues- but now I'm off to pick up a package I wasnt sure I'd receive at all. I love the local USPS, they don't get nearly enough praise. I'm storing away all these great experiences cause inevitably mail will somehow mess up but that's the way it is right? If ya think about how insanely complex the mail is they're performing magic daily. :p Anyways thank you OH USPS!

United States Postal Service in Oak Harbor gets 5 stars for service and 2 stars for the location and lack of aesthetics, being kind of dingy and the entry having sketchy folks nearby, where it can kind of smell like urine and feel a tad dangerous with a homeless transient element that loiters around the area.

I like the one lady who works here that was super helpful about a non-USPS question I had about the area and asking for information or assistance.

If they renovate United States Postal Service, push the transients out and clean it up it can be a state of the art USPS location.

I have been to this post office multiple times and the employees are always polite and helpful. They are out of stock on a lot of flat-rate boxes and envelopes but I'm sure that has to do with the pandemic and all the shortages everywhere.

Every time I come here the employees are always pleasant and helpful. Getting my passport was really quick and easy as well as picking up packages.

Great post office. I've had a few unique situations with packages and they have always taken care of me. I would say they go above and beyond and I really appreciate it.

Being understaffed and underfunded this branch is doing everything it can to make the post office experience better, sometimes you might get spam mail meant for someone else, but aside from that they do a top notch job!

ED was friendly, quick and highly professional. We have Submitted forms for passport in less than 15mins.
