Laveen Village Ace Hardware

This store has great customer service. I drove 30 minutes to this store as it is the only Ace Hardware in the valley that services EGO products. I was immediately greeted when I entered the store. It was lunch time, so the store was a bit busy. I waited a couple minutes in order to be assisted at the repair counter--every store associate made sure that I was being assisted and that someone would be with me as soon as possible, as all associates were working with other customers. Once an associate was free, they helped me out with the paperwork for the repair. April assisted me in the process and let me know when I could expect a call when the item was ready for pickup. She then helped me out with a painting project. Her service was invaluable. Ace is super fortunate to have such a great employee. She's helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
When it was time to pick up my item from being repaired (which was earlier than anticipated), I was again greeted by the friendly staff.

Kyle, the owner of the Ace hardware on 35th and baseline is awesome... I traveled from Scottsdale to get help with a key fob that I had purchased. I had to come back two days later, this time from 40th Street and Bell road. Yes it was a lot of time gas etc. it was all worth it.. Kyle took care of my issue, at no charge and at no point did he try to upsell me anything. If you live in laveen or even anywhere in Phoenix and you need personal and great customer service go see Kyle at Ace hardware on 35th avenue and baseline. Five star employees as well.. thanks again all you guys for your help..

Ace Hardware to the rescue. I was needing something fairly simply, or so I thought. A flapper for the inside of the tank of toilet. Should be a fairly easy enough item to find, but after going to Home Depot and Lowes I found that neither of them had what I needed, at least not the exact one I was looking for. They had plenty of "one size fits all" flappers, but those did NOT in fact work for me. Then I remembered the Laveen Village Ace Hardware (shame on me for not recalling them sooner). I was greeted by a nice friendly "Hello", upon which I asked where the item I was looking for might be. I was directed to the correct aisle and I found exactly what I needed. AND the price was right in line with what the other two big box stores charge. Moral of the story, don't overlook your local Ace Hardware store.

I remember when the Ace at 35th & Southern closed and that was a shame - So happy to have a new one here at 35th & Baseline!
Most of us know what we can find and can expect when visiting an Ace Hardware. What makes this one special is the staff. They are friendly, helpful and answer your questions. Once I forgot my monthly coupons and so they used a Veteran discount instead. On another visit I purchased some heavier items and they helped me load the car as I was not supposed to be lifting heavier items. I usually buy items in bulk here and they will take the time to go into the back and bring out a box of something for you - Things like air filters.
Lastly, I always have to troll the bargain bin and grab something little at the front that I did not exactly need.

Butch, one of the gentlemen that works there, spent time to help me get the right parts missing from my pool set. Butch saved me about two hours of finagling on my own. With his expertise, experience, and friendliness, I felt I was working alongside an older father figure rather than some random employee, which I deeply appreciate. Thanks Butch for your time and hard work!! Highly recommend this location!

I was there with my husband when the previous google review posting lady came in and wanted to return a cooler she had purchased the week before. I don't normally rate stores but I couldn't let this go. The personnel at Ace Hardware store in Laveen were completely professional. The cooler was definitely used. It was scratched and had water still in the bottom. After the clerk told her it had been used and they couldn't resale it, the clerk got the store owner to come over and talk with the lady. There wasn't anything defective with the cooler; she just wanted her money back after using it for a weekend. This was a very expensive cooler and small businesses like this can't afford to take losses on merchandise when people purchase something to use and then return it. Big box stores can afford to do it and many do. This just raises the prices of merchandise that we all buy to cover losses for stolen items and for situations like this lady tried to pull off. It had nothing to do with racism. It is amazing how people throw that word out thinking it will help their case! No matter what, it is not the right thing to do. Use something for free? At the expense of all other buyers! Shame on this lady! And posting a photo of the store personnel was uncalled for. Everyone at this store is very helpful and professional. I shop her often because of their customer service. I have never witnessed them treating any person of any race differently. I thank the owner for not returning her money and raising prices of merchandise to cover his losses. I don't want to pay more because of cheating people in this world.

The staff that was there on Saturday 3/31 should be the model of how to provide top-notch customer service! From the first item I asked about, to checking out. It seemed that there was a level of training at the same time. This crew has a good thing going on. Thanks for the discount, it was certainly appreciated and mostly unexpected. Stop in and check it out for yourself.

On my first visit to our new Ace Hardware store in Laveen, I was so happy to have a store that worked hard to give the customers total attention during their shopping experience. The owner and his crew were in the store to help every customer get immediate help in finding what they needed with a courteous smile. If they need replacement parts, they are very knowledgeable on their inventory and ensure you get the right replacement part. They can even order things for you. Our Laveen Ace Hardware store is a wonderful addition to our community! if you haven't been there yet, you need to go check them out.

I recently visited ACE hardware to have my eGo lawnmower repaired and had the pleasure of working with an employee named Kyle. He went above and beyond to help me with my repair, providing excellent customer service and knowledge about the product. He took the time to explain the issue with my lawnmower and provided a solution in a timely manner.

It is incredibly valuable to have caring employees like Kyle in an organization. His willingness to assist and provide excellent service made my experience at ACE hardware a positive one. I would highly recommend this store, and especially Kyle, to anyone in need of assistance.

This place is very, very good and clean. They have everything you need at a price, but you pay for what you get. You need the right quality thing , this store is for you. They don't sell cheap stuff at all . They sell you stuff that last for years. They really have God name brand stuff. This store have quality stuff throughout the store. I mean, everything is in there . I am very surprised. Shop here i do.

I have an Ego 21" self-propelled lawn mower, which was originally purchased in July of 2017, and it was not running properly. The only certified Ego repair facility in the greater Phoenix area is the Laveen Village Ace Hardware store. I spoke with Kyle, who is the repair representative at Ace Hardware. I reported the "orange light of death" lawn mower issue to him. Was informed that it was an overspeed problem. He would troubleshoot and call before repairing, which is what he did. Brought the unit home and found 2 other issues with the mower. Informed Kyle of the same, and he came to my house to pick up the mower, which was a 22-mile drive one way up the freeway. He repaired the mower at no charge and drove it back to my residence. He did a performance review of the mower and asked him again if we owed anything for additional repairs. No payments are needed, and he even declined a tip my wife wanted to give him. I am very appreciative of this Ace Hardware, their employees, and the outstanding customer service from Kyle

1st time here and pretty much just planning to browse. Amazing place from entry to exit. Immaculate from a Hardware store standpoint. I couldn't resist but to ask the lady, "Who's the Manager of this store?" She replied that she's one of them and I proceeded to tell her my impression and comments. She responded graciously and added that it's MILITARY-owned......OUTSTANDING and even better. I just hope that our community supports this business. Lots of things that you may not find in the 2 BIG STORES along Baseline Road. So, come and check out this Ace Hardware. It's literally 2 miles EAST of Home Depot and 2 miles WEST of Lowe's.......dead center of the 2 big giants!!!!

I went here to get a key made. it was an odd sized key for a mailbox and I knew it was going to be hard. The staff here are SOOOO awesome. I walked in a woman immediately greeted me, she then saw me holding a key and asked if i needed a copy. She looked at it and asked what it was for. I told her it was a mailbox and started looking at the 'odd' keys as well and tried to find a match. She couldn't find one, and then the other guy that was working there- Kyle, who was helping another customer, said that he would look as well when he was done. After he was done helping the other customer he started to hunt down keys. He asked me if I was in a rush, I said no and he said to just give him some time so he could look. He went through the keys and looked and sized up and hunted and found one that was comparable and the best fit and made my key, all while helping other customers that would come by and ask him questions. Everyone there was extremely friendly and examples of how customer service should be. I would just like to say that Kyle went above and beyond and was just an amazing employee and person! I used to always go to Lowe's whenever I needed anything, now I will only be going to this ACE. Thank you for restoring my faith in customer service.

I just want to say Thank You to Laveens local ACE hardware. Kyle went above and beyond when I needed help getting my vehicle re-keyed!! Not only was he helping me, he also was making sure all customers were taken care of. THANKS AGAIN KYLE, your customer service did not go unnoticed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Let me just say that this was the best hardware store visit I've ever had or experienced in my life!! Bobby, Jay, and especially Kyle! He went above and beyond! What an amazing team and I will definitely be a regular in this store if these 3 continue to work there. Great job guys and way to keep them coming back. I will happily recommend you to others in the neighborhood that don't know about it and I'm going to post on next door. See you soon 😊
