Over the decades whenever I’m in and out of town I visit the Post Office.

I’m always impressed with how well the staff manages to keep the line moving.

Last week the assistant saved me $2.50 w/better, packaging option she suggested.

That really really went the extra mile for me. She was not obligated or motivated other than being good at her job to help others deliver postal goods.

Sometimes with an unruly public gives them grit and they return it with Grace.

It can’t be easy (I can see that) but they all give the most to keep the mail flowing.

I’ve entered the office when it’s jam packed and angry people vent at low wage dedicated workers who are caring people.

And I’ve arrived when it’s quiet and ☮ Peaceful. They stay steady, busy and eager to help.

It’s an ever changing array of situational circumstances. But never dull.

I’d like to honor the staff’s commitment to service that I appreciate.

The US Postal history has complexity and growing phases and yet it still offers it’s undeniably popular service: to transmit the Mail 📪📪💌📮📬👩‍🔧🧑‍🔧👨‍🔧🏇👝📦 come Hell or high water.

McMinnville’s local office rises to that bar.

We ship a lot with our business and I really appreciate how hard everyone works to get everything out quickly for us. Our mail carrier is great too, always offers to take packages for us if he sees us taking them down to the post office.

We've been using USPS in McMinnville for shipping for almost a decade. We ship tons of packages and interact with staff every day. Their track record and service has been amazing.

Had an issue with a delivery that was running behind. I called to make sure it wasn’t lost or to find out when I would receive it. The gentleman on the phone went above and beyond to track it down. He personally texted the drivers to find out what truck it was on and made sure it would be delivered today. Very helpful and that kind of customer service is not common these days. So thank you thank you!

It is the post office what can I say you give them money they mail your package. They are friendly but you need to do everything yourself make sure you package has a shipping label on it or you hand written address of where you are mailing it. They don't have free tape bring your own if you think you might need more.

Excellent Service by the gentleman in face shield today! Very good infection control protocol followed!

The staff is so sweet. I have never had such a consistently good experience at any post office. The mailman in my. Neighborhood is also so sweet. Thanks guys!!

I had a package to ship internationally. After my maskless hometown PO told me the only way to get a customs form was online (a lie), I simply went down the road to Mac, where I got a paper customs form and was helped quickly by people who followed Covid protocols and didn't lie to me.

Usually very clean and with friendly service. I don't dred going in as it's like going to a friends place. They have all your shipping supplies. I have two PO Boxes there and easily recieve my mail and packages.

Our postman, Matt, is incredible. Not only does he always have a great and happy attitude but he is always efficient. We look forward to him coming by everyday. Thanks for being so wonderful, Matt!

I like that the parking lot has two one way entrances. Enter on 2nd Street and exit on 1st Street. It is large enough to handle large amount s of traffic.

My mailman has brought my dog back for me when she ran away, and always takes the time to have a nice conversation. Good dude.

Parking is ONE WAY and must be entered from 2nd Street. NO access from 1st Street. Google Maps directions need correction.

The folks here are always happy to assist, & explain, anything & everything I need. It's great having a local # to call as I got NO help or info from the toll free #. I love these folks!!
