A great record store if you like punk. Kind of small but lots of cool stuff at a pretty reasonable price. Overall nice record store.

Awesome spot. The vinyl selection was about 20-25 stacks total but there's a bit of everything. Obviously the punk was the highlight but you can find plenty of cheap older albums (got a Chicago album for $6)

Seems like their inventory shifts pretty regularly, so I would always recommend seeing what's available if you are in the area

I love this store! The staff is friendly and they have a good selection of vinyl records and CDs for such a small store. It’s one of the only places I could find that still sells cassettes (including sealed blanks!) and I’ve found quite a few of my favorite albums there. Favorite record store in the area hands down :)

Pretty great record store. Mostly punk vinyl, which is exactly why I came here. Also, reading the reviews and responses from the owner set me on a new level of MUST SEE. I came out with 3 classics. One of which I could never dream of finding in my hometown. Yeah it’s small, but it’s exactly what I needed on my DC visit.

A really good time. Unique record shop with some great vintage gear. Not at all cheap so don’t think otherwise.

Awesome spot for your punk and rock vinyls. It's a very tiny shop but the selection of records they have is really good.

Makes me happy to know theres still a genuine punk shop around in the area. Not many gems like this spot around anymore.

I realize this is primarily a record shop but I wish they would expand their clothing section a little more with more variety. I still appreciated their selection though.

Overall you will definitely want to pop in if you're of the punk/alternative scene. You'll enjoy it.

Awesome place. Love the environment, great selections of Punk, Heavy Metal and local artists. The staff members are really nice and helpful, also vintage band patches and records, reasonable prices and I highly recommend this place if you want to find some retro Punk and Heavy Metal records and you will also discover unfamiliar bands I guarantee you'll love. Keep up the good work. (Y)

I used to go to SMASH! when I was a young teen in the 80's, they were in Georgetown then, I got them to advertise on whfs in the naughts too before they moved... My daughter just came home and told me all about this store in Adams Morgan with punk records and great clothes... I asked what the name was. SMASH! Records Amazing and great to hear they are still around... I will visit next time I am in the hood.

Cool place! Any 80s or 90s rock fan would love this place, I found the picture mocking a shoplifter and no posers sign hilarious, but might not be for everyone. Pretty decent collection of vinyl, clothes, magazines and more

Was some days in Washington and looking for a shop to buy some records. Finally I get out with 25 for a really descent price. Great classic rock and 70s choice find some gems. As well as some nice old school heavy metal promo records. Will definitely come back when I return to Washington.

Cool record shop. Found a couple of fun things in the used "new arrivals."

It's a nice local place to pick through a somewhat limited selection of records. Don't look for your favorite record here if you're not into the most popular music of the 60s/70s/80s or obscure punk bands.
