The Lodge at Headwaters

I can't wait to go there this weekend. The woman on the phone was so very nice. And helping us make Reservations The snirt run this weekend can't wait to go. Well, we went to the headwaters And it was excellent. The people who work there are still very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were immaculate. You couldn't ask for a nicer place. To stay very good conversations, especially breakfast in the morning with very good. And to talk to the attendant there. They both were so nice and I can't say again. What a pleasure was staying there. We will definitely be back to this place. So many other places don't take the time or energy to make their hotels nice. 5 stars, thank you again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my week at the Lodge. My room was clean and comfortable. I started each morning with good coffee and good food at the included breakfast and conversation with Terry. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful with lots of suggestions for things to do. The grounds provide outdoor seating areas to relax and slow down.

We had a great two day stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast was one of the best l. Friendly staff and offered to cook eggs over easy for us.

What an amazing boutique hotel! The service was absolutely amazing. Fresh hot coffee and breakfast every morning, and fresh linens upon request. The lobby us super cozy and great for catching up with friends, family, or colleagues. The rooms are spacious and very clean. My only challenges were navigating the smaller restroom and random noises early in the morning. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. I had a great experience.

When I'm visiting family in New York State, this is my "go-to," home-away-from-home! I love this place! The furniture & decor in the common areas is warm and inviting, and is changed regularly for the season/holiday. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. Tara and Melissa will pick up the phone any time of day and make sure you have what you need. Terry's weekend breakfasts never disappoint! The location is close to town, grocery store, restaurants but is tucked back from the main road, surrounded by well-maintained sprawling green lawns and trees or... snow, depending on when you visit, making it a peaceful and quiet. I never stay anywhere else! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My father grew up in Boonville and I stayed at this hotel many years ago. Since then, it has had a full renovation, which came out beautifully. The rooms are a great size, with little fridge and microwave in the front entryway. My husband and I stayed with our two little ones and there was plenty of room. Everything was very clean. The keyless entry using your phone was very convenient. And they even provide coffee and breakfast every morning. We were very happy with our stay!

We stayed the week before Woodsman Field Days...the quiet before the storm! Staff is super helpful and friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Loved the fireplace outdoors for evening hangs. During the week the breakfast is grab n go, but on the weekends they cook.

My husband & I both stayed here while my husband Joe was reglazing/refinishing bath tubs. We enjoyed our stay so much & so thankful of how we were treated! The place is so nice! The staff workers make you feel at home. Melissa, Tara & Arielle are all so professional and very nice. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at this beautiful place while my husband was doing work there! I highly recommend this place to anyone! A+++++++

What a nice place to stay! We stayed here for the first time with friends for the snirt run. The staff that welcomed us was super nice, made us feel like family. Plenty of room and the breakfast was great also. Would definitely stay there again

We had a group of 8 stay here for a week long kayaking tour. Everything was phenomenal! The staff, the rooms and the breakfast were all great! Can't wait for the next group later this month!!

It's definitely a lot nicer since the renovation, room was nice, bed was comfortable, WiFi worked well, host even brought us a bottle of champagne as it had been our wedding day a few days prior, which was extremely nice!! Would definitely recommend staying even if just for the night on your way thru town, or for a extended stay if here is your destination, with the upcoming fair it's not a bad thought!!

Our second time staying here and it was just as great as the first time. Melissa truly makes it a great experience helping with whatever she can. The staff is always so friendly with a great attitude. We will be staying there again!

Lovely rooms and friendly staff make this a great place to stay when we visit family in the area. They offer a great breakfast and have wifi. The bathrooms are a bit tight to bathe small children but fine for adults. The lobby is a welcoming and comfortable place to hang out and enjoy a coffee. My kids especially enjoy the board games and puzzles they keep stocked there. Overall a great place to stop over for a weekend or longer with great staff who are friendly, accommodating, and helpful.

What a great little place! The decor was perfect for fall, I fell in love with all of it! The historical pictures in the hallways were also great to look at. We booked last minute on our way to Lake Placid and are so glad we chose. Many restaurants in the area that deliver right to your room. Room was a nice size as was the bathroom. Nothing negative to say. Memorable was the water pressure in our bathroom in the shower. Felt like you were taking a shower in front of a power washer, we were definitely clean after that shower :-). Overall, great place to stay!

Running late to my already late check in, Kaleb behind the desk reached out to make sure we were ok and on our way. After telling him we ran late he told us no worries and safe travels. Once arrived he was extremely courteous, asked if we needed anything at all not to hesitate. This was all after midnight. The hotel was beautifully designed, as well as immaculately clean. Super comfortable bed as well as bedding. When we woke up for complimentary continental breakfast, our eggs were made to order. A fresh pot if coffee and a wonderful conversation with the owner. I would not only recommend this hotel to all my family and friends, I will absolutely stay there again.

Rooms have been recently updated. The room was clean and organized. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. I had eggs, French toast, bacon, sausage, coffee and orange juice. That was a good meal.

Five star isn't enough, more like ten. We had a such a great time there, my 5 yr old loved it. She was sad when we had to leave. Friendly staff, clean rooms and a wonderful breakfast with wonderful cooks. Food is great. We couldn't have been more comfortable and happier.

We took advantage of the Memorial Day special and stayed two nights in the weekend. Always outstandingly clean with friendly staff. Delicious breakfast, too! If you're looking for a more modern alternative to the Edge Hotel in Lyons Falls come to Headwaters. Beds are much more comfortable, too!

Our visit was not planned, we had to make an emergency stop due to a terrible snow storm and extremely dangerous road conditions. We were an hour away from home, my mother-in-law and I had my 2 little girls with us, and we were starting to panic as night fell and temperatures dropped. Booneville was very busy that evening, in spite of the weather, everywhere we looked was packed with snowmobilers and we were turned away at the other nearby hotels. Someone pointed us in the direction of Headwaters and told us we'd be lucky to find a room with a single bed, let alone room for 2 adults and 2 children.
When we arrived and explained to the front desk our situation, she was very kind and understanding of the circumstances and insisted we need not stress, she would not even think of having us stay in our vehicle in the cold overnight. She put us in a beautiful room with 2 queen beds, right near the vending machines and close enough to the front desk to easily ask for help, provided us with menus and phone numbers to places nearby that would deliver dinner to the hotel, she even escorted us to our room and showed us step-by-step how to use the E-Keys to get in, AND brought out a basket of phone chargers we could borrow from for the evening! All of this while being the only one there on a very busy night, after having worked at the desk all day!
For an unexpected, last minute check in with no reservation, it was pretty amazing!
