I grew up with this elegant little China Gourmet restaurant in my life since the 90s best Chinese food in the state if you ask me. I've had so many others that just do not compare. The only reason they got 3 stars on the atmosphere is since the pandemic, they only do take away.

The place is a bit tiny and out dated but they can definitely cook! The food is outstanding and delicious. Prices are pretty good for all the food they give you. Yummy

Being one of the only Chinese food options in the area, this place doesn't disappoint. Do realize they are usually very busy. Great family business.

The China Gourmet is AWESOME! Their food is always what you expect and well done. Being that its the only restaurant of its type for miles and miles around they always are top notch never slacking.
Take out only for now I hope (Mr Coumo)?.
Dine in when its back or take out is always worth the cost. Which is average.

Great food no matter what you order. My favorite snack, chicken on a stick. Runner up has to be the pepper steak with an egg roll.

Great place to eat, just don't try it on a Sunday, they've never been open Sundays, but other than that the food is always consistent and always good, I feel like the eat in portions are much bigger than the to go portions, but eat in or take out the staff is always friendly and as helpful as possible, would always recommend for lunch or dinner except on Sunday.

The best chinese cuisine in the area hands down clean place quick staff. I know in a small towns its chinese and pizza but honestly thank god ours is amazing.

Best place in the north country. People from lowville take an 18 min drive to get their food. So gooooood. I get a orange chicken combo with white rice.

My favorite Chinese food.. great flavor and service.. I was raised in NYC.. and this is the closest i can get to good Chinese food.. when we come back to visit.. i always. Make sure to stop by..

We think this is the best Chinese we have had anywhere. We go other places when we aren't near home and nothing compares! All the locals we talk to agree. This place is hands down the best. "Fifteen minute!"

I have been all over this country from East to west and back many times, I never miss this food, best Asian food, ever lots of styles, don't miss out.

Nice place to get your usual Chinese food! Usually quick & reasonably priced.

Cleaner than most. You can see the kitchen from the front door. Hot and sour soup is one of my favorites.

Absolutely my favorite place to eat! Always good sushi.

The service is constantly great and the people. They are kind and pleasant.

Communicating is somewhat tricky, but food is great, service is good.
