Ravenswood Bridge

I always love this landmark as you leave Ohio and cross into West Virginia. It's a symbol of being out and on the road and on my way to someplace new or to visit friends afar. It is a welcome sign, "you are on your way!" Always brings a smile to my face.

It's always a pleasure to cross the Ravenswood Bridge. I have not yet seen ravens, and the bridge is made out of steel, not wood. But it's delightful all the same. I should mention, in a lot of the photos people have posted, it looks like the bridge is falling over. Rest assured it is not falling over. Those people just didn't hold their phone level when taking the photo.

Crossing this bridge gave me some great feelings and liked the way it is constructed. Being a civil engineer, I enjoy passing through such bridges as it gives me an idea of how it could be designed and constructed. A nice bridge

Top-notch bridge. Seems pretty sturdy. Gets you from one side of the Ohio River to the other without you or your horse having to swim. Amazing. Highly recommended.
