Goat Soup & Whiskey Tavern

Absolutely love this place. Easy access and we enjoyed the food we ate here both times we visited. The buffalo wings and blue cheese are some of the best I've had. They are big and not breaded which are big pluses. The burgers are also very good. We really enjoyed the onion rings as well as the green chile smothered fries.

Best of all, you cannot beat the price. It rivals anything you'd find in Keystone River Run area.

Food here is okay. The service is okay. Everybody is friendly though. When you're lucky enough to catch a live band it's always a great time. There is a cover charge typically. Pay the cover and enjoy your evening in the mountain. Staff member Hannah ensured a great time.

The staff is always friendly, helpful, and fast.
They always have 3 homemade soups and they are excellent - a highlight.
I love the grilled chicken sandwich and I get barbeque sauce on the side.

What an amazing idea to open a bar that specializes in soup. Picture this, been running the slopes all day. You’re cold and hungry and it’s 3pm. The only place to go is the GOAT. The green chicken chili is easily the best chicken chili I have ever had. With plenty of other options daily. Conveniently located in walking distance to the Peru lift it is an essential stop after a great day of skiing. Bar staff is friendly and food is great. It’s a bar that you would see in a 90s movie. Great atmosphere, but disrespectful people beware. Any shenanigans and you’ll make the wall of 86’d! Overall great place!

Dive bar. Great little place. It was crowded (Sat night) because it's a good hangout. It's called Goat: Soup & Whiskey so get the soup (chicken green chili) and a whiskey. They do both really well. I was seriously impressed by the chili and it far exceeded my expectations. I was on the fence about ordering it and I'm really glad I did. Bartenders are attentive and friendly. To the reviews that said it smelled: it looks like a dive and walks like a dive. If you expect a swan, this place is not for you. Side note: entry is to the left, not the front. Outdoor deck.

Derek is our server who reminded me of Rocky with the way he talked and was awesome. The food itself is a killer! Absolutely phenomenal and would certainly come back this way again for the service and food. Kid friendly place kinda since we have 16 month old lol. We all loved it.

After a day on the slopes, we decided to try this place. There are two sides; one is the sports bar area and the other is more of a lounge feel where they were setting up for live music that evening. We sat on the lounge side at the bar and ordered a couple of PBRs while we looked at the menu. Not many vegetarian options for my friend, but I got the Cubano sandwich with Waffle Fries. We also ordered a large onion rings and it was way too much food because the side to the sandwich has plenty to share. Both sides are really solid. Bartender was nice and the jukebox played incredible music. Really enjoyed this place and wish I wasn't so tired from boarding that I would have stayed for some live music.

Last day in town and I had to make sure that this place was the last place I went to before the airport. Great beer and bar food done right 👍

This place is the GOAT. Most fun bar I’ve ever been to. Did enjoy some soup and whiskey. Hope you do the same. The live band was nonstop energy and the food and drinks and games were all a great deal. Lovely spot in the mountains.

Best dive around. Live music can be good. Expect to pay a cover on peak weekends for the music... Cheap drinks

Awesome place. Cheap drinks and good food. Not too many affordable places left in Colorado ski towns but this is one of them. If you love the moose jaw you’ll love it here.

This is a great pub. Lots of good food besides whiskey and soup. I got the loaded fries, wings and clam chowder. Thursdays, wings are half priced 😛

I have been shown nothing but love and support from my ohio boys at the goat. The soup is extraordinary (in particular the truffle potato) and I am a HUGE fan. Big props to the owner and the whole kitchen crew for helping me order to go when I was in a wheelchair!!! Let it be known that THE Goat staff are friends to the handiCAPABLE community!
