Moon Phased is the perfect place for any metaphysical supplies you need! I find their collection of crystals, herbs, and everything else so reasonably priced and perfectly beginner witch friendly. As a practicing witch myself I find everything I need there with ease from the staffs recommendations and help. Also they have a store kitten, immediate win in my book

The new owners are great, have always loved this place. And It's better then ever. Check them out on Facebook and in person of course is best, they have a great selection of unique stuff... I will continue to go to the bookshelf for years to come :)

My favorite place for metaphysical items such as crystals, oils, tarot cards and more. I have been coming here for about 3 years now, and I have always been helped and had a pleasant experience. Everyone has been so welcoming, especially since the name change. I love the community it brings, and the New Moon events that I hope to join soon!

Great little place! One of our only book and new age stores in the Winchester area! While I've been going here for decades, the new ownership is taking it from a junk bookstore that has some new age stuff to an exclusively new age/metaphysical store. Went for my first real visit today since the change and was very impressed. While the rock/mineral/stone selection is extremely wide, you're not going to find any real geological specimens here. Lots of small stuff, but a huge variety. The place looks great, and we found a few things that made us feel good and glad we visited. Check out their events! Lots of cool stuff! The summer events have tons of great vendors!

I absolutely love this place. It's the perfect spot to get incense, crystals, and a whole array of used books for cheap!! This hasn't changed with the recent new management. Everyone who works there is super nice and helpful. I strongly recommend this place!!

The ladies of the shop are absolutely lovely, and the shop is the cutest! High quality items at good prices. I will absolutely keep returning.

I love this little shop! Friendly staff, beautiful, large assortment of gemstones. Tarot decks, incense, used books, altar cloths, unique gifts, oil based perfumes, jewelry, herbs, etc. Great music while you shop. They even have a cute little "take a rock, leave a rock" stand outside, so bring a stone you want to put out into the world. The only downside is the limited hours of operation.

So the bookshelf used to be used books and a dabbling of new age. The new owners have taken it in a fantastic direction I am so happy to have a shop locally like this FINALLY! Prices are currently quite reasonable. I hadn’t been in in a couple years I am so glad I popped in on chance. I’ll be returning often 🍄🧙‍♀

LOVE the new store! I would’ve stayed all day if I could and just found a corner to journal in, lol! The atmosphere is wonderful. The staff was so nice. And I really appreciated how comfortable I felt being in there. Can’t wait to go back!

This is an amazing store. They have a wide selection of stones as well as spiritual material. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They're definitely practitioners of the many crafts that are available at the store

I have been going to the Book Shelf for many many years. Recently it came under new management and of course I was definitely going to be skeptical. After a few visits I find that I actually like it even more than before. They seem to have amped up the amount and variety of occult and mystic items and they still have great books at great prices. I even did a Tarot reading from Megan yesterday which was a really fun experience. I highly recommend this place and the new management!

They have some pretty nice crystal and incense selections and so many more interesting things to look at such as books and ingredients ^w^ 5/5 would come back again

It was my first time in The Book Shelf and I liked the astrology items more than the books. My brother found a book to read and the seats were comfortable for a long reading session. The owners are friendly and will engage in conversation with the customers. It is a place I want my mother to visit with me in the future.
There are more metaphysical items now and it's working well. The storee has more walking space so customers can view new materials and not feel crowded if they're looking for one specific item or browse for future shopping trips.

Sometimes it's the items that chooses you, will you allow yourself to feel what you need! I love this store been going to the book shelf since I was in my 20s and I'm now 34. It's changed since then but that change was pure and just what it needed and we all needed!

Always friendly, helpful and welcoming. Love watching the shop constantly evolve. My kiddos just love it here too, it has become our ritual to see what the universe wants us to know, 50 cents and you have your answer ♡

Plenty of stones, crystals, incense, oils, and books. Decor and jewelry are also available, which I'll probably buy as gifts down the road. The staff was lovely, funny and informative on what was available - which is impressive, because there is a lot available! I'll be back :)

This place is a diamond in the rough. The staff here are very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. They helped me tremendously with getting everything I needed for my craft. The Book Shelf was beyond my expectations for a metaphysical store and in Winchester Virginia of all places. The Book Shelf is a rare jewel.
