Cash only. Friendly staff. We had the 2 Italian Sub & 2 Sliced Turkey, all with various toppings. They were delicious. Everything was fresh.

The interior is very retro. We felt like we were back in the 50's. Large counter; no tables. Clean establishment.

Sandwich was delish, good, quick service, would go back. Located right on Situate Harbor so we sat outside by gazebo across the street. They do NOT take credit ca4ds so be sure to bring cash but they do have an ATM.

I've been coming here since I was maybe 7 years old. This is, hands down, one of the best sub shops on the south shore. I introduced my friends to this shop and they loved it.

Very delicious sandwich. I had turkey with pickles! They also have glutenfree pizza. Its importen for me too ate at a place that have glutenfree alternative because my boyfriend have allergies.

Definitely a favorite. I used to stop here 30 years ago after a hard day of work coming back from the ocean commercial fishing. Now I’m a dentist in Boston and I still come back to this old favorite!

Needed a quick place for lunch and this came up on my Google search. Not only was the food good, service was quick and friendly and price was very reasonable. Anytime I'm in Scituate this will be my go to for a sub or slice of pizza.

Best sub shop in the states. Some of my love for this place is nostalgia as I've been visiting Scituate with family for years since I was a child and this has been a constant highlight for decades. They have a unique style that I absolutely love. I eat here nearly daily when we visit.

Great little family deli! We're tourists and we were all happy with our sub/pizza lunch.

Have your orders ready or other customers may roll their eyes at you for taking too long 😉...there is a process.

Well run establishment, great customer service and amazing food. I love the hot pastrami sub, I always get it. Good prices and they have their own bottled drinks. Their cream soda is delicious. Family friendly environment and always busy at lunch.

I love their turkey provolone cran/mayo sub toasted.. delish!
I visit from Florida every year and need one every trip.

I've been enjoying Maria's since I was a small child and am now in my 30s. I live out of state now and make sure to visit when home. Maria's has always been a favorite for subs and pizza!

Best subs since before ever!

The classic sub in Scituate. No lettuce on your subs, but that doesn't matter b/c no matter what you choose the taste never disappoints.

Grew up in Scituate and go every time i come home to visit. Awesome subs and great atmosphere. How on earth are people complaining about them weighing the cold cuts???? I cant imagine complaining given the amount of food for the price. Its a great deal!. Anyone who doesn't like this place is probably unhappy in general.

Outstanding subs! Many complain they don’t have lettuce as a topping choice but most sub places that offer it usually dump a whole head on the sandwich. The sandwich is actually better without all that rabbit food on it anyhow, so well done Maria’s!
