The Grill at Fairview Inn

We had the pleasure of dining in this unique restaurant a few weeks ago and will look forward to the next trip. We started with the stuffed mushrooms which had a unique flavor the we loved and we couldn't resist trying the clam chowder. I barely got any chowder as my wife and son are it all up. My son had the maple fish and just decided it... He is 7 and getting him to order something healthy is a challenge. He wanted to return the next day it was so good. I had a simple shrimp salad, but the chef created a masterpiece. We finished the meal with the chocolate cake. Glad we planned on sharing as we had to take some home it was so large. If you are in the neighborhood I highly recommend doing for a meal.

We enjoyed a late lunch on the deck outside, splitting the pork and lobster for two. The dish was huge and amazing! I can’t recommend this dish enough. The pork and lobster were cooked to perfection. The seared Ahi Tuna appetizer is also good. And thank you to Erin for her great service and jubilant personality, she was so much fun.

Rang in 2022 correctly with a delicious meal at The Grill at Fairview Inn in Marshfield, MA! 🎉 Visiting the Cape during the winter is so worth it. Food pictured:

1) Corned Beef Egg Rolls - Shredded cabbage, Swiss cheese, mustard aioli and Guinness grain mustard for dipping.

2) Filet Formaggio - Pepper-seared center cut filet, garlic and herb goat cheese, red wine reduction, asparagus and zucchini.

3) Fried Scallops - House fries, slaw, lemon wedge and tartar sauce.

SO GOOD. The steak was cooked perfectly and the scallops were so buttery and tender. The service was excellent too. Can’t wait to go back!

Great great great place! David Granger told me about their milk but I like the food more! The staff are very friendly the restaurant was clean I highly recommend this place!

Excellent seafood options! Fresh and well prepared! We showed up for a late supper and had excellent service! The food is nicely presented and taste great! Great value for a nice meal!

A brookie - cookie? Brownie? Both!! Hot from the oven - homemade like pretty much everything from here. Started with the best house salad on the south shore (or maybe the world) -clam chowder- chicken marsala. Have never had a bad anything here. Owners are such nice down to earth people. Got to talking, owner is chef (amazing) his wife runs the front and loves fresca! (Fresca and jack which is surprisingly delish) if you want from scratch, great food a water view and a fresca from the gun— run, don’t walk to The Grill at Fairview Inn

..came in tonight and were greeted by hostesses with the biggest smiles who found a perfect table for us in front of the fire. we had dinner which was started off with a delicious little plate of bread with hummus and olives. the food was excellent 1 seafood casserole with delicious lobster sauce and 1 almond crusted salmon. the veggies served with the dishes were very good and we had baked potatoes. great meal, very cozy by the fire, good service and nice people. will be back soon! thanks!

Was excellent! The clam chowder was delicious and the combo grilled cheese and scallop sandwich superb. And our waitress "Grace" was on the ball and sweet. Overall a great experience and highly recommended!!!

Great spot for lunch in Brant Rock. Great service by staff. Outstanding experience with clam chowder, Greek salad, fried clams/haddock combo. Seafood casserole was very nice too. Great views of the ocean and outdoor seating too. You will enjoy eating here.

Wow. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, the portions were big, the service was great, and it all came quickly. Jack M. was our waiter, he was super friendly and helpful. I'll definitely come back to this place next time I'm in town.

Food was amazing! The pork chop was perfect!

The tomato basil is even better than mine. The Ruben was perfectly made with the perfect ratio of ingredients giving every bite a perfect bite. Cannot say enough about tastyness.

Excellent food our fish was cooked to perfection (I had fried scallops) still moist on the inside. Reasonable prices good service and a "fair view" of the ocean.

My wife had steak tips and I had steak with dressing. Delicious! Dining room was really spread out and felt very comfortable! Ocean view!

We had excellent service, two delicious meals, large fresh salad .....and reasonable prices. Every employee was pleasant and inviting. Can't wait to go back.

My wife’s salad was perfect . I ordered a sirloin burger that melted in my mouth, cooked to perfection. Will go there many times in the future.

A confusing legacy. Fairview Inn location was previously occupied by at leadt two others in ladt few years with drastically different success.

Currently it has been taken over by new tenantcand reopenedcas Grill at Fairview. We live just up the street.

It seens the owner of Grill 139 in Marshfield took over. They seem to be doing very well and we hope they have continued succrss theycseem to be earning.

Food is grear but limited msnu ramping up after opening this summer. See history of Grill 139. Didregard history of Fairview Inn except recent ad it was prevoouslyva wonderful chef and restautant who chose to relocate inland to Hanover or somewhere there as rent was raised beyond what they wanted.

Landlord tried to open ad restaurant on his own but it didnt make it. Then it reopened this summer and wexare so glad to see it thriving. Its still in its first season and working kinks out for much larger operation than Grill 139. But its awesome and getting better continuously.

Check them out. But itsxalreadycso popular in season avoid weekends due to parking and crowds. Off season will be great I think.

Looking forrward to many great msals here. Hope the confusion soon ends!
