Ika San Ramen and Izakaya

Absolutely delicious. I want to move in and eat everything! It was our first time, I tried the Tonkatsu (my standard favorite) and it blew me out of the water. The broth was rich and delicious, noodles cooked to perfection, and the pork belly was crispy and tender. We tried the Tokyo Fried Chicken as well… oh my god, the sauce and the crispiness were perfection. The atmosphere is very chill, One Piece in the background was nice touch. I’ll definitely be back, can’t wait try more!

Wow ! super tasty love their pork belly steam buns, they do have some vegeterian choices if needed. Neet atmosphere but could use some more attention to cleaning between the tables.

I was in the area, and I noticed this place right about the time I was thinking about getting some dinner. What a great coincidence. I love good ramen noodles, and I was eager to give this place a try.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in and seated right away. I like the Japanese theme of the restaurant. I didn't recognize the shows playing on the 2 big TVs, but I know Japanese anime when I see it. It wasn't until after I was seated that I noticed outdoor seating. I used the bathroom to wash my hands before my meal, and I was impressed with how clean the bathroom was.

I wasn't sure what I wanted, so I asked the waitress for a suggestion. She recommended the Tonkotsu ramen bowl. I don't remember how long I waited for my food, but it didn't seem like a long time. For my beverage, I had Coke. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't sell bubble tea. Asian food and bubble tea just seem to go hand in hand to me.

The food is amazing. I loved the quality of the broth, the pork, and the noodles. Whenever I saw characters feasting on noodles in any anime show, I imagined it was like this. Considering a double whopper meal at Burger King with medium fries and a medium drink is $14, I don't believe $16 is out of line for a very good quality ramen bowl. My one suggestion to the owner is to put bubble teas on the menu. I will come back to try more of their dishes.

Went out to lunch at Ika San Ramen and Izakaya on Pine Lake today. The food was amazing. Everything was fresh and had exceptional flavor. We shared dumplings and steamed buns as an appetizer. For our entrees we had the Fuego Ramen and Spicy Miso. Definitely going back again!

Love this place! So happy there’s finally one in Lincoln so I don’t have to drive an hour for this delicious food. Must try this one out if you haven’t. I got the fried chicken steam buns to start (absolutely amazing), and the Mary Jane 😍

They have hanging paper lanterns and artwork on walls. Plus there is anime on Tvs.
Ramen was exquisite as was the service. Pictures great but best in person. Please check it out!

I stopped in before a flight home because I love Ramen and it’s not something I can get locally. I had the Tonkutsu and it was so delicious. The portions are huge, and extremely filling. I also had the Yasai Goyza and they were also amazing. The staff was super friendly and sweet.

Great service great Ramen. The steamed buns are a fantastic deconstruction.

We stopped here for lunch not knowing anything about the restaurant. My anime loving 8 year old LOVED the atmosphere. The food was DELICIOUS. Service was top notch. Will definitely be back.

First time here, just open so they are having little issues with servers... But the food is amazingly good, my Kimshi was really good... Finished the entire bowl.

Had the Blackstone Tonk for lunch. The chashu was nicely seasoned and perfect texture. The broth was amazing. So glad to have a new ramen spot in south Lincoln.

I have tried a few local places similar to Ika San Ramen and this is the best in Lincoln that I've tried so far. Good balance of flavors, great portions, quality food, good atmosphere, and excellent service make this one of my new top 5 restaurants in Lincoln now. I was not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised.
I will point out that if broth/soup type dishes aren't your jam, maybe give this place a chance anyway - I don't like soup at all, but the ramen bowls that we got were so flavorful (one more hearty, one more spicy) and they weren't stingy with the quality ingredients - we ended up drinking all of the broth that came along with the ramen. If you DO like soup, this will basically be some of the best soup you've ever had.
Overall, I was surprised at the value and quality of the food most of all. The service shouldn't be looked over though - Breckin was laid back, honest, knowledgeable, and helpful - everything you want a server to be. The atmosphere was good - music wasn't too loud and bathrooms were clean.
I'll be back!

Came in looking for something lighter than a big ramen bowl. Waitress Sarah was very helpful by recommending the egg rolls and pork belly steam buns, which were amazing. Service was great, and got some recommendations for next time that I can't wait to try!

Always wanted to try a Ramen shop. Love anime and was pleasantly surprised at the ambience of the restaurant. Only thing would be is that the price definitely puts it in the date night category.

We brought in a large party of 8. Service was wonderful, but it took a while to get food out to us. Eggs were cold that were added to the soup. My wife got a salmon poke bowl and was stabbed in the mouth by a bone. No bones are supposed to be in the poke.
Good tasted great, but I feel if I don't give proper feed back then they won't know what to fix.

Host was very welcoming upon coming in and the waiter was very tentative and friendly. Quality food; im so glad we have one of these in Lincoln finally.

Loved it! The miso ramen was delicious! The wait staff was very friendly and nice, and knew the menu well. Nice, fun atmosphere. Especially if you appreciate Anime.

All-around good experience. The Blackstone Tonk was INCREDIBLE! And our waitress was energetic and friendly. Plus they had popular anime playing on the TV screens, which was such a fun and playful touch. I'll be going back for sure!

When you first walk in you notice all the decor, paper lanterns, TV's playing anime, the graffiti on the walls and a lot of wall art. It's lovely 😍 We ordered appetizers, Tokyo fried chicken and pork belly steam buns, both we're really good! The sauces on the fried chicken really were the stand out of that dish and the fresh diakon radish was fantastic on the steam buns. Our favorite were the steam buns! Then we ordered the Mary Jane Ramen bowl and the Kimchi Ramen bowl. The Mary Jane bowl was so good! The broth was so flavorful, the fresh cilantro and onions were a really tasty addition and the chicken was cooked to perfection! The Kimchi bowl was also very delicious! The pork in it was so tender it just fell apart. We will definitely be back! My only criticism is it's too far away from my house! 🤣 Service and food were excellent 👌

I’ve been to plenty ramen spots all over the country. This one is the best I’ve been to personally. Lincoln residents tend to sleep on restaurants out of their comfort zone (corn, cheese, beer). Rest easy folks you get more than what you pay for. Enjoy!
