Shokunin Sushi and Japanese Cuisine

Really Great sushi. They make the rolls their own. I mean the food isn’t just another sushi roll place..they have unique style and cooking that sets them apart. I like the photos on the menu, and the service was great. The location is easy to find too.

Amazing service, food and atmosphere. I eat at this place at least once a month (cause it’s THAT good) and they never disappoint. Couldn’t recommend more!

I loved eating at Shokunin! This place is now my favorite sushi restaurant in town. The staff/service was amazing. The food was delicious. The drinks were stunning and tasted great! There was a lot of thought put into the decor of the place, and I was a huge fan of the music playing. The vibe was lofi chill beats and it was perfect for the atmosphere! I came during happy hour and the prices were good for sushi & mixed drinks. It’s a small place but totally worth the visit. They also have great vegetarian options, though my sister loved their regular/specialty sushi. I recommend the veggie tempura and any of the veggie rolls. Overall, eating here was an awesome experience and I can’t wait to go back!

We stopped here after a husker game for some late night eats. Everything was excellent. The Sashimi was perfect and the ramen was some of the best I have ever tasted. We will definitely go back and have a new go to spot in the Haymarket

I’m typically a sushi girl but I really was interested in trying something different and I was not disappointed! Great taste, fresh and enough for left overs! I’ll be going back to try the sushi :)

If you want the best quality sushi in Lincoln, then this is the place! Maybe your more into noodles, well then this is still where you wanna be! Highly recommend the King Calamari roll and the Yakisoba!

Shokunin offers the highest quality fish for fair prices. The staff is always friendly and the lanterns create a great atmosphere for date night. I work across the street so every so often I like to pop in for a sushi roll while on break.

Best sushi joint in town, and second place isn't even close (well, maybe it is geographically). The bluefin tuna is exquisite and would highly recommend it. Everything we've had has been incredible and the overall experience has always been pleasant.

When we first went to Shokunin, I realized I finally had found my place. They care about the quality of their ingredients, as well as the service. (Jason is great! Very nice and helpful when it comes to menu suggestions.)

Everything I’ve ever ordered has been fantastic, from the nigiri, to the ramen, to the ‘fancy’ rolls, etc. I especially loved the udon - it took my back to a visit I had with my exchange family in Japan. There are many food options for non-sushi fans, and lots of happy hour opportunities.

I highly recommend any of the chef’s choice sashimi and nigiri or the hand rolls.

There is no place like this in Lincoln - authentic Japanese food (not just sushi, although their sushi is amazing) in a space that feels very much like a sushi bar or ramen bar in Japan. Staff was very welcoming from the moment we walked in to when we left. You can tell they take pride in their restaurant.

We had the pork katsu (Japanese curry) which was not as heavy as a traditional katsu and really yummy, as well as a few sushi rolls, and their house sake, green tea, and plum wine. All were delicious! The warm house sake is a great way to warm up on a cold day, too.

We really enjoyed our experience at Shokunin and will definitely be back!

Very high quality sushi. Best I've had in Lincoln. Variety in menu beyond sushi. Lunch sashimi plate is incredible value. Went here with 6 people who ordered a variety of things and everyone liked what they got.

Shokunin is by far my favorite place to get sushi in Lincoln. When it comes to the quality of sushi, this place this on a complete different level compared to Hiro, Blue, and Grey Whale. Inside the restaurant, the vibes are good and the staff is nice. I took my roommates there the other day for the first time and they loved it. Their sushi menu has a lot of options and our server Jason was very knowledgeable was able to give us great suggestions.

The decoration design and dining atmosphere are good, the food is delicious 😋

We ordered appetizers and rolls (dragon roll, rainbow roll), all good and very enjoyed.

An excellent hidden gem at the edge of the Haymarket! My partner and I went here for dinner the other day and enjoyed the great service and delicious food! HIGHLY recommend the Bluefin combo!

Shokunin is our favorite Japanese restaurant in Lincoln . They’re alway have a good quality of sashimi , sushi Rolls .Food was so delicious ,pricey but it’s worth it .

This is the best sushi spot in Lincoln hands down. My wife and I come here regularly and it is absolutely incredible every time. The servers are always extremely polite and attentive. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re in the Haymarket area give it a try.

Hands down some of the best sushi and ramen in Lincoln! The sushi was perfectly balanced with lighter and heavier tastes so you never get tired of the flavor. It was well over 90 degrees when we went but we had to try the ramen because it looked so tasty...and it was! I can't wait to go back!
