Hiro 88 | South Lincoln

I really enjoy Hiro. Between all the locations in Lincoln and Omaha, this one is my favorite to go to. Service is always great and they don’t “forget” about you. Tonight was probably the best yet. Our server, Grace, was just on top of it and attentive. She even asked if we had dietary restrictions or allergies. All of our food was hot when it came out and even tastier than usual. Will be coming here again and again.

My favorite place to get bentos! 🍱 Love this location a bit more than the Haymarket one since parking is free and plentiful.

Probably my favorite sushi place that I've found in town. Restaurant is gorgeous and elegant yet super inviting and casual. Server was super friendly and helped make us feel at home during our first time there. Cocktail menu is delicious plus a big sake selection. Sushi is off the charts good and they have so many varieties you'll find something you love. I most definitely will be coming back!

Took FIL to lunch here. It was our first time here and it was on a Sunday so they had Reverse Happy Hour, which is essentially just a larger Happy Hour menu all day on Sunday.

The Gyoza and Short Rib apps were great. The rolls and nigiri was also great.

I just wish they had some specialty nigiri or sashimi like Blue does. I am not going to knock them for that though as everything we had was excellent.

Service was also excellent. Will definitely be back.

Great spot for Sushi in town! Always fresh with good rolls to choose from. Never had a bad service experience, either. Check it out during Happy Hour if you want to save a little money - worth it.

If you're a sushi lover, Hiro-88 off of 56th and Pine Lake Road is the place for you. My wife and I have been frequenting Hiro for the past three years for special occasions and date nights, and we have consistently received the best service in town. We recently enjoyed a bottle of wine while laughing and relishing the best sushi in town. I highly recommend the Wasabi Stinger Roll and the crab rangoons! Even with our son of just three months old, we have enjoyed our meals here, as the restaurant is kid-friendly. The staff at Hero always goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service, welcoming us with a smile. For your next date night, choose Hero and experience the same amazing service we have come to love! Overall, we had a 5-star experience.

Waiter was super sweet as always; the sushi and the rest of the dishes were absolutely delicious! Hiro88 is honestly one of the best sushi places I’ve eaten at while living in the Omaha-Lincoln area and definitely will be missed when I move!

Absolutely wonderful Lunch! Even asked them to make me an off menu special non alcoholic drink and they had no issue at all and it was good! The Sushi roll was well worth the money and was spot on. The Sesame Chicken was cooked perfect, crispy and they best tasting I've had anywhere to date.. This place impressed us and we really enjoyed our lunch today! Also, lets not forget how great the wait staff was, Keely, did an awesome job and was very attentive.

I've been to Hiro 88 several times over the years and it's a reliably good experience every time. The menu is enormous which sometimes means less attention is given to each dish, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Whether it's the rolls, the small plates or the entrees, everything earns its spot on the menu. The craft cocktails are decently complex with quality liquor. Nothing will blow your mind but they're still great, and fairly priced for what you get. The fried rice and scallion pancakes are great options for kids. Our toddler loves them both. The Mai Tai is pictured (sans lime garnish).

We came for a birthday and had an amazing experience. We had a waitress who did an amazing job and the food was fantastic. This is the first time any of us had ever received a boat for sushi. That's how you know it was a great night! Our waitress also brought us out a cake for the birthday man and put happy birthday on the plate. She said she cut herself in the process but it looked great and was a perfect experience at Hiro 88.

Their bento box for lunch was an excellent deal. We’ve also tried happy hour and the sushi is always great!

We were seated quickly, even though they were busy. Our server was really great! The food, as always, was fantastic!

This is a pretty nice place to go to. The only problem I may have with this restaurant is that the food server would not accept more than a 20% tip? She said it was automatic 20% when more than ,8 people are dining. Try to give her$2 more than what the 20% requirement. She come back with no that's the rules that's the way it is. It was like she was afraid to take an extra couple dollars as a tip without it being on the receipt? I hope that is not true? Service people need all they can get. They don't get paid much hourly for sure. Last but not least. It was a birthday we brought our own dessert and dishes. They charged us a fee for our own dessert? If I would have realized that? I would have asked them, well where's my dessert? I got charged for it.

If u ever come here and Ree is ur server you are in for a treat, the best server I have ever come across supper intelligent and incredibly helpful 9.5 outa 10 recommended. I have been here several times but REE is the reason to come here!!

We came for lunch and had a great experience. We quickly had a table and beverages. The waitress was prompt and accommodating for our work lunch with just the right amount of attention. The food itself was just as expected and almost better than the pictures! We'll definitely come back again.

The only even minor company i have is more about parking than anything else as the lot is fairly small for how much seating is available. I enjoyed watching people get towed when parked illegally for dinner! The area has breweries, coffee shops, and ice cream so parking directly in front isn't always a necessity if you're looking for a longer evening.

Love coming to Hiro! They’re rolls are awesome and the lunch menu offers lots of choices. Be sure and stop in on Sunday, it’s happy hour all day long!

Love their peanut butter chicken and sushi! Hiro 88 is a great place for a date night or eating / getting drinks with a group. Great service at both locations.

I've eaten here twice with family. Both times the food has been excellent and service has been great. The prices seem very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Definitely would recommend if you want Asian food in the Lincoln area.

What a fun place to go! Great atmosphere! Great service! Great food! Also, great prices when you hit up the reverse happy hour! Our experience was great and we will be back!
