Shogun Japanese Steakhouse

Brought my husband here for his 40th birthday. We enjoyed the sushi (X-Men) and the pineapple fruit boat. 🍍 My unagi don (eel rice bowl) was amazing, and his steak and shrimp hibachi meal was good, too. Even their soup and salad were tasty! They were definitely short-staffed, but still did a good job with our table service. We will plan to be back, just not on a busy Friday night.

We were visiting Lincoln to see our daughter and she took us here. They had a large selection on the menu, it was fun and entertaining watching our food cook. We ordered appetizers which we shouldn’t have because you get a lot of food. Food was great and the service was amazing. We would definitely go back.

The food was amazing. All of our proteins, which included lobster, shrimp, scallops and steak, were cooked perfectly. The fried rice and vegetables had wonderful flavor and our sushi rolls were beautifully presented and so tasty. It has been a while since I have been to Shogun. I hope I make it back sooner for my next visit.

Took my daughter out to celebrate her birthday here had a enjoyable time and the food was delicious.

Really enjoyed my visit here. The show put on by the chef was great, and the food was delicious. When considering prices, remember that you are paying for a show as well as a meal!

Great place to eat a variety of Japanese foods. They really put on a great show while cooking the food. They do a nice birthday song if it's your birthday. Would definitely recommend trying it and will be coming back.

Just an amazing place for a fun dinner! We went for a bday and it was great! They had a wonderful fun birthday celebration and the pineapple boat was amazing!!! The only thing I have bad is that we thought the portions were small for the price. But so delicious!!!!

Awesome environment with tasty food & our chef put on a nice show as well. Our server Steven, was super friendly & attentive to our needs + provided wonderful suggestions too. I live in Colorado, but the next time I’m back in town, I’ll definitely swing by again!

Ordered the Steak Teriyaki. Staff were friendly, seated us quickly and alcohol came in a timely fashion. Chef was prompt and, in spite of only two of us, still put on the full show. Hits different when it's just for you. Another customer ordered a custom dish and the chef brought those with him. Recomend if you're looking for a treat after being cooped up!

Made a last minute reservation for 11 people and we were effortlessly accommodated. We always love the quality of the grill show and food. I would definitely say we receive consistent high quality in our food with each visit. We've ordered a little bit of everything and never are disappointed. The quantities too are impressive. You could never leave hungry from this family favorite.

They were so accommodating to my allergies! I'm allergic to gluten and shellfish and they helped me so much! All the comments saying it's too overpriced don't seem to understand we are paying for food and an amazing show. I would love to come here again!

Food was delicious. The service was friendly and fast. The have show when serving food but we sat in different part of restaurant.

Super fun experience. The food and the hibachi show was really entertaining to watch. They have a large fish pond right in the front with some really large fish in.

It has been well over a decade since my last Shogun experience. I was a little nervous it wouldn’t live up to the nostalgia but it was delightful! It was busy and we were quoted a 30 minute wait but they had us sat within 10. The chef was friendly and entertaining and the girls loved the show. Everything was cooked well (filet mignon, chicken and scallops) and veggies and rice were tasty as well. Worth the price for the added fun in my opinion-plan for around $25/person. Be sure to bring cash to tip your chef, but he also told me he could receive tips via credit card when I asked. All in all a great experience and we will be back sooner rather than later!

Amazing staff, very welcoming and kind. They appreciate if you stack your dishes together (small or large group), very interactive cooking. Great for kids and birthdays (unless epileptic flashing lights), but amazing! 10/10 recommend!

First time experiencing Shoguns with my daughters and it was a true treat! A friendly comfortable atmosphere, food was delicious, satisfying, prepared expertly by our chef who was also entertaining and fun. Can't wait to return. Thank you
