Best Deck and Railing supplier on the East Coast. Very convenient locations. Everything comes wrapped or boxed nothing every missing from my orders. Never have to wait for anything. The service is first class and is one of the many reasons why I use the the deck and fence super store for all my decking and railing needs.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff! Convenient location with hassle free pick-up. Fast deliveries too! All I’ve had is excellent service from DECK & FENCE .
I am 63 and still very active / hands on with with the business .

Point being , I deal with many different vendors , and not all vendors are easy to deal with .

I would like the other branches to have the materials. I also traveled 45 minutes to one of them and they did not have what I was looking for. I had to travel another 45 minutes from store A to store B. It was stressful.
I hope this help to manager!

First and last time trusting this business. Came in for invoice for pickup at their location. Passive aggressive lady at counter asked if I want to pay now (as I’m standing in their showroom) or when I return for pickup. Invoice pictured also reflects my expectation of location. After rearranging my day to grab this order and get my workers scheduled for the install, I returned to pay and pickup.. to be told they don’t have my order at their location. Lady who took my order 2 days prior says: “that’s got my name on it” to the effect of admitting the error on her part. Spoke to 3 different people from this company - twice on the phone - they were only concerned with explaining why I can’t get it this location, that I only have to travel 30 minutes away for pickup (1 hour total). Two days prior I was standing in their showroom for about 30 minutes and not ONE person mentioned I can’t pick this up here. Not. One. No “Sorry/My bad/Apology” at all. Brought this issue to attention of the guy on the phone who didn’t seem to care. I chose this place bc it was close to me. Never again.

I visited Deck & Fence Superstore, DFS, in the beginning of May 2023. I met with what I thought was a helpful employee named Terry. On the DFS website, they state they can design custom decks for you. I discussed my design ideas and she calculated a deck to meet my needs and eliminate waste. The original quote was for $11,000. When I returned to provide my down payment, a new employee suggested to slightly enlarge the deck to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Because they are the specialists, I agreed to the modification. I provided DFS a downpayment check and they informed me that the deck material would be delivered in two weeks. Apparently, the original specialist forgot to add railings and other components. Thus, the final quote amounted to $16,000. Roughly two weeks later, I followed up asking about my materials and the employee said DFS was still waiting for my down payment. Eventually, DFS discovered an employee misplaced our $8,000 check, causing our material to be delayed by two more weeks. Upon delivery, you are asked to sign an invoice for the material. The material was saran wrapped, banded, and stacked. Trusting the business, I signed. Who would take the material of that size, weight, and amount out of the packaging and inspect every component.
Being a first-time homeowner, I decided to hire a contractor to assemble the deck. During the first day early in the build, the contractor had to stop because DFS shorted us on framing material. I tried to overcome this by making numerous trips to Home Depot. To no prevail, I was shorted on every framing material required to complete the build. The contractor expected to complete the build in one day. Due to the inexperience or negligence of DFS employees, I had to pay for another day of labor, pay for additional lumber, and waste hours of time and money chasing back and forth from Home Depot. While installing the composite decking, the contractor realized we were given an excess of very expensive fascia and shorted railing material and the decking itself. Additionally, the contractor noted several boards were damaged prior to delivery or via the band straps used in shipping. The contractor could not finish the deck once again.
Disgusted, I called, emailed, and eventually visited DFS in person trying to rectify the situation. I asked for reimbursement and expedited shipping for remaining decking material. Despite having deck build packages on their website, being a specialty store, and designing the deck for me, Chris, the store manager, told me it was my fault for not double checking a professional’s work. For comparison, how ridiculous would it be if a granite company took measurements of your countertop, then delivered a slab that was too short, and then would refuse to admit fault stating you should have double check their worker who took the measurements. It just would not happen from any reputable business. I tried explaining how unjust DFS was being to me but Chris just blew me off and put the negligence and incompetence of his employees on me. On top of everything, Chris wanted to charge me for another delivery fee.
This business refused to address the problem justly. I felt like DSF stole from me. I never felt so betrayed after spending $16,000 with a company. DSF omitted $1,000 worth of material. Just pay someone to purchase and build, do not trust this company.
