Lisa did an outstanding job helping us with a passport application for Patrick, our 6 year old son just before noon today (4/19/24). We were 10 min late for our appointment and Lisa was still very kind and most importantly competent and productive. In less than 10 min, she took a great picture of our son, and then she helped us complete several gaps in our passport application for our son too. Thank you Lisa for your kindness, competence and productivity!

Major shoutout to the staff here, they were very helpful in resolving what could have been a very stressful situation.

Went on a Saturday morning to renew my passport with nothing other than my expiring passport and no idea of the renewal process. Gerry helped me through the entire process and got me in and out quickly. His customer service is the best I’ve experienced not only at a post office but anywhere in my 26 years of living. The Castle Shannon USPS is extremely lucky to have an employee like Gerry.

Mike just helped me with a special request to hold the mail through later in February. Mike and all the staff there have helped me so many times over the past 12 years and they have always been excellent. They make things so easy and I should have left this review 10 years ago. Thank you for outstanding service!

Excellent and friendly service. Nancy is a keeper and needs a raise, she's wonderful, friendly, efficient. I was going to Brookline Post office, cause it's closer to me, but always had very bad experiences there. I will go to Castle Shannon for now on. All staff are friendly and professional. Thanks.

Staff is very friendly and professional. There was a long line but they kept it moving. They quickly explained the different shipping options and add-ons (insurance, signature service) and how much each would cost.

5 years ago i would have given this post office zero stars due to the disgruntled, scowling woman who worked the counter. Apparently she retired or moved on because the women and men who provide customer service today are DELIGHTFUL and very helpful, always.

One of the best post offices. Extremely helpful and friendly staff (unlike most other USPS locations...), and fast to resolve any issues. Always try to go here when I have any problems.
