Spinning Wheel Diner

When we walked in post-hike we were ravenous and thankfully we came between lunch and dinner so the diner was pretty empty. We were seated immediately and she gave me chicken salad within two minutes of me asking. The portions were generous for the price and we got our food within ten minutes of our order. The chicken salad was meaty and delicious and my side order of fries were crunchy and perfect. The diner was spotless and the the waitress was very friendly. After 22 years of patronage the spinning wheel diner has never failed me. I will be returning soon.

So much food for the price! I was completely unprepared for how well they feed you lol. And their chicken soup.is so good!

Love this diner. We drive out of our area to come here. Always a great experience. Wendy is the best server. Friendly & attentive. Food is delicious & big portions. Soups are the best, especially the matzo ball. Their coleslaw & rice pudding is the best I've ever had. Will be back soon!

Very fine diner overall. They are very accommodating of large groups and provide excellent service. I ordered the yankee pot roast, which came with potato pancakes, a side of my choice, soup, and desert all for $15. There’s not many other places where you can get so much food for such a low price. The pot roast was cooked just right, the potato pancakes were perfectly crispy, and the soup was also excellent. With great prices, delicious food, and excellent service, I would give this diner my full recommendation.

Went with the family after pumpkin picking and it was really good the waitress was so nice and the food was yummy and a lot of food. Definitely a go. 👍🫰🏼💜

I decided to try a late lunch here with my wife. Classic old school diner. Everyone was very friendly. The food was good. The portions were also good. The prices seemed very reasonable too. Will definitely go back.

I moved from NJ in 14 years ago and desperately miss diner food. This place hits the nail on the head in all categories. Foods awesome I had breakfast here several times and have never had a bad experience. 9 out of 10 and the only reason I won't say 10 out of 10 is cuz I'm only able to have it twice a year 🤣

Best hamburger around, french fries are a must. Roast Turkey dinner with stuffing was excellent. Great serving of chocolate pudding, really hit the spot !!!

Every once in a while circumstances put me in the right place at the right time. My drive clock was ticking down. I had no choice but to make the Spinning Wheel Diner my target for a place to park the rig overnight, with the benefit of grabbing a sit-down breakfast the following morn.

It turned out to be a shining beacon glimmering in the darkness. I parked and went to sleep in minutes.

When daylight hit, and upon approach and entry, it became obvious that it sparkled because it was not just clean, it was polished.

Breakfast was great. Service was great. Atmosphere was homie. Seriously, the waitress seemed to know everybody that came through the door by name.

It was that kind of place.

Surreal.

If the opportunity ever arises, and I am passing this way again, I will definitely pay another visit.

I can have that delicious Hollandaise sauce on my eggs over potatoes. This keeps my breakfast Gluten Free and I have no worries about an allergic reaction!!!
Always seated right away and the servers are attentive!

Great diner with wait staff who remember their customers.
Food portions are double sized, so I recommend paying the fee to share dishes unless you want to take home leftovers. Crabcakes were yummy, but contained bell peppers. Matzah ball soup was DELICIOUS

Excellent food, reasonable prices and great service. Love the look inside as it takes me back to the diner I used to go to in the 90's when I was in high school.

The staff is very nice and attentive. The food came out incredibly quickly, I think it was less than 5 minutes. Very tasty!

I am a Celiac and they were very careful with my food! Waitress conveyed to kitchen and all went well...We appreciate the care and we tipped accordingly...Our pleasure to overtip when care is given...TY...

This place was fabulous! And the sausage links were huge! Everything was tasty and done perfect. And Wendy was a fabulous server! Kept me topped up on soda. They made me feel like a regular from my first step in the door. Even the manager was friendly and talkative. My only complaint, no Dr Pepper. Yes I know, first world problem... As a over-the-road trucker I'm always on the lookout for both new places to eat and places to park. This being just outside of the New York Jersey Madness this place was a godsend. I will definitely be eating here every time I come out of New York on the south end. Thanks for saving and serving my bacon! 😁😉👍👍👍
