Donnie helped me out of a bind, we have a short term rental in Cashiers NC and a power outage caused our router to revert to factory default settings. On a Sunday, and before our next guests check in at 4pm, Donnie was able to get in restore our previous router configuration to ensure our next guests had TV/Internet etc. We were very happy with the service and price. What a major sigh of relief Hoffey's was for me. My water cooler pump in my PC completely failed. I reached out to Hoffey's and he was able to respond instantly to set up an appointment not even 12 hours later. He troubleshooted my issue within an hour and we ordered a new cooler. He then installed the cooler flawlessly and I was back up and running within a week. Diagnosing and solving this issue at an affordable price can take some people months. He can also respond by text. Thank you Hoffey's!

I replaced my power supply in an old Dell 9010 but was still not getting it to start up. I called Hoffeys got vm and Donnie called me right back. He walked me through a few check points and boom figured out I did not have the power circuit plugged in correctly. I offered to pay and he said it’s on the house ! You don’t find that service every day. Definitely our go to from here on out.

Donnie Hoffey is the most helpful and generous small business owner I have ever encountered. I contacted him while trying to find a replacement for my lost Dell laptop charging cord. He called or texted me three times to make sure he had the correct replacement cord in his shop, and then gave it to me FOR FREE. Who does that? I cannot say enough nice things about Hoffey's.

I reached out with a question regarding a problem I was having with a PC build I'm working on. Mr.Hoffey not only determined the issue via text, he offered to loan me a component to test my system. He was very pleasant and professional, and even did some research to give me some ideas on what else I needed. Way above and beyond than necessary!
Any business owner who goes to this length of helping a customer (without even getting paid) is worth his weight in gold.

Donnie came to my house, a house calls? In this area, we can’t get utility service techs on the day promised.

He was terrific. I needed to have exchange settings remove from my Dell, other files moved to an external drive. Everything synced to Outlook. Much more. All perfect.

This place was a serendipitous find.....just stumbled upon it in cashiers. Through no recommendations etc. don’t know why either this place is awesome! I will be referring this place to everyone that needs computer and technical repair. Donnie was awesome....came in and showed up big time....in the clutch. I really needed a printer to print stuff for my job. He fixed the issue in no time. It was pretty technical as well he had to get into the printer to fix it. He also made sure it fed and printed properly after fixing the arm and roller. Everything works like a charm and he only charged me $20....he’s awesome I recommend Donnie’s shop for anyone who needs his expertise. He saved me over $100 bucks for sure....as I would of had to buy a new printer!

I needed my laptop fixed because of my son doing his school work. I brought it to Hoffey's computers to be looked at because it was turning off after being on it for a short amount of time. We thought it was possibly the battery so we order a new one and a new power cord but when he went to install Windows it still shut down. Even though this is very time consuming, expensive, and difficult he took the entire laptop apart. He found the CPU fan was completely covered in dust. So he cleaned it all out for us. Donnie always goes above and beyond what is expected. He is professional and gets done stuff done a quickly as possible. I will continue to use Hoffey's Computers for all my IT needs.

I was thoroughly impressed with the staff (I believe the gentleman‘s name was Tim) of Hoffeys computers. Their interest and willingness to help us resolve our problem was exceptional. Not only did they help us find a laptop cord when others could not, they held it until we could pick it up and didn’t even charge us. Excellent service.
I will recommend them to anyone that needs IT assistance.

Had a motherboard cash in late Dec and Donnie did a great job in moving me in the direction of replacing the computer with a refurbished Dell computer with an upgrade to windows 10. Saving me the purchase of a new harddirve or computer. He transfered all of the data from my previous harddirve and I was up and running with all of my files and programs in a week. I was very satisfied with his pricing , knowledge and service. If you have a problem give him a call - I highly reccommend Donnie.

I am not what you would call computer savvy so when I had what turned out to be a simple problem with my laptop I made an appointment with Mr. Hoffey. He was very nice and pointed out what the problem was within 5 minutes of waking into his shop.. I did not get the leave it with me as I had at other computer repair shops. Was courteous and professional. Highly recommend.

I was having trouble with my emails and made an appointment and took my 3 things (iPhone, iPad, laptop) in and he corrected the problem and was extremely helpful and businesslike. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Been there a few years ago and different problem, but same great quality and would definitely recommend him (personally, I selfishly hate to, but just have to) he is no nonsense and very honest too! Great find.

With so little REAL service left in the world, Hoffey's is a notable exception. Both my husband and I are dependent on our computers for business. Cashiers is a lovely place to be, but not a tech center. Hoffey's makes housecalls and has "saved our bacon" more than once. He is courteous, on time and so knowledgeable. Nothing but praise from me!!!

Was visiting on a short trip and my MacBook pro ended up having a start-up issue. Drove an hour just to see Hoffey at his place and he was nothing but professional, quick, and gave us pointers on what to see around the area. He fixed it right up for cheap.

Donny has helped us several times-even came to our store in Cashers when we had IP issues! He is fast, courteous and realizes we're not all tech savvy. We highly recommend him.
