After numerous frustrating visits to a nearby Verizon store, I suggested my mother-in-law try the Sweetwater store based on good Google reviews. I went with her to get a new phone. The staff was very helpful and expedient. In and out quickly. Easy transfer of data from old phone (iPhone 6). If you live in Athens, it is definitely worth the trip to Sweetwater for Verizon services.

Thank you Dakota, you helped me out in matter of minutes what I hadn't been able to do in over a year and were understanding, kind and friendly. With service like this, I'll come back for my next phone. Thank you Dakota, what a wonderful employee Verizon has in him!

I would like to give a big thumbs up to the employees at Russell Verizon in Sweetwater Tn. Austin went beyond the call of duty to get me back up and running after my phone died for no reason. Even with a dead phone and the fact that you can’t even get into the phone to receive texts from Verizon for verifications he was able to get my pictures and contacts back on my phone. What a great bunch of people they are and grateful that we still have people like that who cares about their customers.

Dawn was awesome to deal with! She explained options and pricing very clearly and transferred over all my photos, messages, apps, etc. She was very helpful and personable. Best phone-buying experience ever!

Franklin is always such a joy to work with!! I've been using this Verizon store for years and I'm always glad to see Franklin as I know he's always friendly, works quickly and thoroughly, and is incredibly knowledgeable!! I truly wish there were many more people at Verizon stores just like Franklin!!

The customer service this store provides is unsurpassed! You walk in and you are immediately made to feel like an old friend. Mary, the store manager, is unbelievable! She is super friendly, very knowledgeable and will make sure you get exactly what you need. She provides all information of products/services available to you but does not pressure you to purchase what you don't want. I will continue to visit this store for all of my cellular needs and would recommend Russell Cellular to everyone!

Love this place! Came from Lenoir City because our Verizon here NEVER has what we want in stock.
I got the phone I wanted and the lady was very nice and knowledgeable.
We were so impressed my wife went back the following week to upgrade her phone. The young guy who helped her was also very knowledgeable.
I had a successful business man tell me years ago that one of the reasons so many places fail is because of "lack of product knowledge". Not here, this place is small but top knotch.

Came in the store was greeted with a warm welcoming. Jasmine is very helpful & kind. She's really good. I will be going back to see her. She got me in and out and answered all my questions. Ask for jasmine.

I had trouble activating my new IPhone I bought in the Athens store. The girls at this location (Mary and Jasmine) helped me set up my phone and transfer all my pictures and contacts. They were extremely friendly and helpful! From now on I will be using them for all of my Verizon needs!! 😊❤

Franklin is very knowledgeable and has the kind of personality and customer service skills that made our purchasing a very easy transaction. He is the type of person you want to deal with. Always went to Athens but now will do business here.

My husband and I could not have asked for a better experience with Verizon. Lucretta was so knowledgeable, and kind and patient with us. We both left with new phones working great. We actually live much closer to the Athens TN verizon store ... but they make everyone stand outside on the sidewalk... summer and winter. No matter how old.... no one can go inside. We'll never go back to Athens after discovering Lucretta at the Sweetwater TN store!

Amazing service! I bought my phone from a different location they didn’t bother to help me activate it due to COVID so after 5 hours of problems with my phone I took it here and she had it fixed in 5 minutes!
