Loved, loved, loved this place! We tried the blueberry cheesecake flavor and the chocolate mousse flavor, and we both enjoyed our picks. There is some outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating. The lady helping us was so friendly and happy to let us try a few of the flavors. They had a big selection to choose from, so I'll definitely come back to try more.

Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! Prices are very reasonable and the servings are huge. Isaac was SUCH a welcoming face and was very patient in helping us choose, giving us samples, and helping our 7 year old decide. Will absolutely be back!

Stopped here for ice cream on a Saturday afternoon. Large selection to choose from. The staff were cheerful, helpful, and worked quickly. The place is set up nicely inside and there is plenty of seating available. The price was average for the area. The ice cream was very good. Worth a stop!

All around delightful experience! Can't wait to go back and try something else. We both had a kiddo cup of rocky Rd to tie us over until dinner, and it was Delicious.

The best homemade ice cream you'll find for miles!! They have a plethora of regular flavors that are all great, as well as seasonal ones that are fun to try. They offer everything from waffle bowls, to cones (chocolate or vanilla😋), and even have pints and 1/2 gallons to go! We usually like to stop by on a pretty day and enjoy our ice cream while relaxing out under the gazebo. 🥰

If you need a frozen treat, this place is a must. Interesting flavors of ice cream, fresh waffle cones made on the spot. Mine was honey and cinnamon while wife had coffee flavored.

Love the hometown feel of this locally owned ice cream shop. The ice cream flavor Spectrum is Broad and unique. Quality is as good as you'll find anywhere. Fresh made waffle cones and Waffle cups recommended.

Great ice cream and it's made in house! Even the waffle cones! Splurge and get 2 different flavors and you will enjoy!

Absolutely adorable shop, spacious inside so the family could sit. We ate outside. The pup had a delicious vanilla scoop and I had an incredibly generous scoop of wonderful mint chocolate chip. Thank you!! We will be back soon!

Yum!! Absolutely loved this place. We were visiting Tennessee from Michigan and found out about Sweetwater Creamery on Yelp. The flavors looked amazing and we just had to see for ourselves.

My husband ordered the Blueberry Cheesecake in a waffle bowl and I had the Mudslide & Kahlua (adult flavors) in a waffle cone. The ice cream was fresh, creamy and tasted exactly like the flavors ordered.

The staff was warm and welcoming. They answered any and all of our questions and waited patiently for us to make our final choices. One of the ladies noticed we were looking at Airbnb's while were enjoying our ice cream and made the recommendation for us to check out the Remedies Inn, a boutique inn, across the street. We ended up booking a room and were very grateful for her suggestion.

Downtown Sweetwater is quaint, cute and very inviting. It makes me feel like I'm in a Hallmark movie. We instantly fell in love with the people and town. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are thinking of moving here in a few years. To think, it all started with a Yelp review about ice cream.

Unfortunately they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays so we didn't make it back in. But this will be one of our first stops when we come back to TN!!

Awesome homemade ice cream. Welcomed by great southern charm and a friendly “Hi Y’-all” when you walk in. Then enjoyed a fresh homemade waffle cone with homemade ice cream. Got four flavors because I couldn’t decide and none of them was a disappointment!! If you are in the area, you must stop by. You won’t be sorry.

The atmosphere was nice it feels like an old school ice cream shop. Service was amazing employees were very polite and helped with suggestions. Will definitely be back worth the stop.

The two young adults working today on 12/28/23 were a machine. Both were super friendly, efficient, and worked together which is getting rare in some places. Ice Cream and Latte's were fantastic. For me, it's worth the drive from Athens, TN. Keep up the awesome work.

GIANT scoops! Tons of flavors and delish combos. Love the chocolate waffle bowl homemade to order. Lavender lemon was amazing!

Thee best ice-cream I've ever eaten! The girl that worked here said they put whole cakes in their ice cream base and mix them together. I had the carrot cake and Nutella. Do not miss out on this place!

My entire family of huge ice cream fans agrees — this place is AMAZING!! So many intriguing flavors to choose from, the ordering is the hardest part. Ended up with blackberry cobbler (big chunks of real cobbler!) and the “adult” mudslide, which was a terrific combo. Other family members recommend the red velvet and out-of-the-ordinary Oreo. My kids report it was super creamy and possibly the best they’ve ever had. Absolutely worth a short detour from the highway!!
