Boss Chick N Beer

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left, our whole dinner at Boss Chick N Beer was an amazing experience. Kate was AMAZING and made us feel so welcomed and at home there. She explained the menus so well. My gf and I (vegans) opted for the plant-based menu and my dad had the real meat menu. The 3 of us shared onion rings, fried pickles, AND fries for appetizers (we were HUNGRY!) and for our vegan dinner, we split the buffalo mac and wings. So much food. We ended up with leftovers. The tofu wings and tofu on the buffalo mac were a huge highlight. The plant based ranch was so delicious. All around so good. Wish we had a location on the east side, but since we don’t, we might just have to come back to Bay Village because of the atmosphere and service. On a beautiful snowy day we got Boss Chickn and it was the best chicken I’ve ever had. They have such great quality of food- you can get wings and lightly breaded tenders with amazing sauces and rubs and phenomenal sides like a baked potato stuffed with cranberry salad (gorgeous). The people at Boss Chickn are so nice and I can’t wait to go back in again and sit and eat in and enjoy some delicious draft beers! They also have amazing vegan options and non alcoholic beers!

I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing. I got a chicken sandwhich with extra pickles. All the sides were amazing as well! I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often.

We had a wonderful experience with ordering take out from this location earlier this evening. The restaurant was busy but the staff were working hard to get everyone’s food out to them quickly. They were even courteous enough to update us while we waited for our food. The staff was very kind, in good spirits and really made an effort to be friendly to the customers. We were very impressed. Most importantly, we are very happy with our food. The portions are generous and everything we ordered tasted phenomenal. The breaded mushrooms were out of this world and were huge in size. Their loaded fries were quite loaded and extremely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked and very enjoyable. We can definitely see why the wings are award winning. We will definitely be back. It’s wonderful to see a small business with such high quality food and service!

We were in town visiting family and my friend told me about this place. As someone who is GF for a year now I was beyond excited to try some gf fried chicken.
Larry was friendly and helped us navigate the menu for our party.

Aside from the awesome costumer service with employees that actually take the time to ask your name and have a conversation, on top of the amazing vibes the intimate dining experience provided, this place legit has a top tier menu.

I literally love wings, this place had a sign that said “best wings in Cleveland” and I had to stop and decide for myself, because a lot of restaurants I’ve seen say this and they usually cap 🧢

For one,
They absolutely do have the best wings in Cleveland. No cap, like literally the absolute best. They weren’t dry, weren’t overly wet with sauce because (they don’t toss their wings - amazing) they tasted like they were slow cooked in a smoker but they weren’t.
On top of that they separated my drums and flats which made me so happy.

The sauce ? That’s what made this place really get on my good side. I tried the Cleveland Gold sauce and I swear on my mama it was so delicious I wanted to beg for the recipe.

There was a guy sitting next to me who had two other sauces that he let me dip my wing in and they were both absolute perfection and I am going to try them again soon.
They also had really good Brusselsprouts. Like amazing. And their Mac and cheese was amazing too, I’m not joking like it was perfect.

Please please don’t take my word for it.

When you live in a house divided (by food choices) - this restaurant is a dream. Full menu for BOTH meat eaters and vegans. Gluten free options too. Husband had the “best chicken wings of his life” and I had the best cauliflower wings imaginable. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, can’t wait to go back. 10/10 loved everything about this place.

Many places claim to have "The Best X in place Y" - this place definitely lives up to the best chicken wings in Cleveland. The rub on the wings is impeccable, and their sauces elevate the wings to another level. I had the white peach habanero sauce - the deliciously sweet and tart peach really shines through and complements the heat very nicely. The sandwiches here are very well priced and a great size for what you're paying.

The service is top-notch - the welcome we got was very friendly and accommodating. There are plenty of vegan options as well as gluten free. This place goes above and beyond to do what they do to a very high standard. If I lived closer, I'd definitely be a regular!

I came here tonight for the first time with my boyfriend. I've been wanting to go for a year now and finally got around to it. This is our new chicken place. The wings are AMAZING. The service was impeccable- all the guys working tonight were very knowledgeable and gave us a menu tour. They were all hilarious and so kind. They are clearly passionate about their work and are happy at their jobs and it shows. It translates to amazing service and an awesome experience. Not only is this an amazing spot to get a delicious dinner, they are accommodating to different dietary restrictions!! I can happily say I will be back. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, and happy employees all tell me the owners are great people (which I already knew). 1000/10 will be back!!
P.S. get the gold sauce. Trust.

First off - super friendly staff. Great beer selections and food. Strong vegan menu. Wings were big, juicy and flavorful. I would likely opt for no dry rub and stick to sauce (which is served on the side - not tossed) as mine were a tad salty.

It was our first time, but I would definitely go again and recommend it to others. Ashley and Eddy were amazing. Very helpful, friendly, and great to talk with. The food was REALLY good. Especially the Queso Mac and Cheese. You can sit at the bar, and they'll make it all right in front of you, which is unique compared to other chicken places. Loved it! :)

I ordered the vegan 8-pac tofu wings with citrus bbq and vegan ranch, as well as vegan mac and cheese. It was all amazing. Tofu wings were great dipped in the sauces and the mac and cheese was melty and had good flavor! We will definitely be back.

I don't think I've ever been motivated to leave a review before, but this place was exceptional. The food was fantastic (wings, tenders, fries and cranberry salad ) and employees were terrific. From the drink recommendations to the dinner suggestions, they were spot on. Thank you for a great experience. Like it says on their door, "we're not fancy...but we are delicious".

Food was so fresh, environment was warm and welcoming. Ashley was awesome explaining the items and going over the menu and the sizes of the food. You can say your food was made right in-front of you fresh from the grill to your plate! So hot and flavorful

Nicely priced large chicken sandwich for $12. Half the menu is vegan/plant based. Tasty and filling food with a neat diner-esque environment and good beer selection. Gratuity was not included in the total like a previous review stated.

I am vegetarian and my husband is not. It can be difficult to find a spot we both love. I was very reassured of the non possibility of cross contamination and enjoyed the amount of options for the both of us. Excellent service too. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Delicious and affordable chicken with big portions. Food came out really quick and service was fantastic, Will (the manager I assume) was super friendly and nice. The mac and cheese and the fries were the favorites of the group. All the sauces were really good. Definitely a great experience!

I would give this place a 6-star rating if they had one. Great new concept and the food was second to none. The build-out is fun and the service was what really added to the experience. The menu is easy and simple but very well done. Will and Ron are the best! I grow up in northern Ohio and moved to DC 20 years ago. I owned several restaurants and talented employees are a key. These guys got I going on.

Delicious food and reasonable prices. Very healthy and fulfilling. I was so full off half of my sandwich and that sweet potato with the honey butter was so good.
