Village Ice Cream and Candies

We love going here. The service and all the choices are always great. The store is so cute, fun and always super clean (which being at the beach is a hard task). My youngest asks for ice cream every time we drive by since she was 1.

I can't imagine going anywhere else for icream. It's become the perfect place to sit and rock while eating the best icecream around. It holds so many memories for me and my children and grandchildren and the other night my husband and I went and sat there eating our waffle cones remembering all the times family comes to visit and we all say Village Ice Cream!!!!! This is where memories are made. Thank you Village Ice Cream and all the sweet smiling faces that work there!

I was trying to get to The Villiage market and my GPS took me here instead! I took my family here that same afternoon after seeing they had dippin dots!!! It was delicious. Perfect amount of ice cream in a kids scoop for my toddler and my husband loved his double! Will definitely go back and try an ice cream split.

I wish the dippin dots flavors were on the main back board and not a little board up front. But I definitely got exactly what I was craving!

The owner works hard at creating a wonderful atmosphere. Best ice cream and candy around.. We love the owners and the employees are always wonderful. She always makes sure she has my expresso chip.

Such a fun place for kids (and adults) lots of candy to choose from and an awesome selection for ice cream and treats. The kids also enjoyed the toy selection, they have tons of cute stuffed animals to choose from for a little souvenir. The prices were good.

We are new to the island and just recently took a trip to get ice cream. We went in late, as they were closing up. The owners made sure my kids had everything they wanted before we left. Very personable and wonderful ice cream too! We will be back.

The fact that the line wrapped around the store and outside says it all. Plenty of ice cream flavor options and Dip-n-Dots! Locally owned and operated as well!

Wonderful family owned business. The ice cream was great, and the portions were too. We really enjoyed learning about the owners and their rich history. It's awesome to see a business that the owners are there all the time. Ice cream seems to settle dinner, so we stopped nearly every night while visiting. Relax on the front porch and enjoy the many selections. You can walk from the campground or ride the bike, which is our excuse for eating so much ice cream.

Just stopped in with my son, great place to visit for ice cream, salt water taffy and souvenirs. Owner was great and everything was just stocked. Love that they have Blue Bell ice cream too!

Super cute store that was very clean and tidy. The people behind the counter were very nice, too! This was our first time and we got a ton of taffy and ice cream/sorbet. I’d definitely return next visit to the beach!

One thing I don’t like is the owner’s snarky replies to reviews. I’d still visit the store again because it’s a great little place, but it’s never a good sign when the owner has to get rude in responses. Otherwise, great place to stop and get taffy and gifts before going across the street to sample some wine. :)

Delicious Taffy! All kinds of goodies, definitely stop in and find something to satisfy that sweet tooth!

So good! So, so good! And great customer service. The owner held the door open for us on the way through the door, THAT'S how good their customer service is.

Oh, and the ice cream? So much, so delicious. Me and my wife should have shared but we stuck it out and ate our own.

There's lot of ice cream places in the world. Skip them and go to Village Ice Cream.

Great place to get ice cream and other sweet treats!

Great ice cream and great staff! The line was wrapped around the building, but the ladies working behind the counter were super efficient and kept the line moving quickly. They were super sweet and had a great atmosphere! Will definitely return throughout the year!

Such an amazing ice cream store with various amounts of flavors to choose from. My family and I love this place and will always go back for more. Definitely recommend stopping by, you can't go wrong here! Amazing waffle cones and generous scoops! Thank you staff for your amazing service each time!

Our family loved the ice cream here every night of our vacation. It was a wonderful bonus to get to meet sweet Brenda and her terrific staff. Great service! Tons of delicious ice cream choices! If we didn’t live 20 hours away in Iowa, we’d be here more often.

Ice cream and staff was amazing. Anything we wanted to try she was very willing to let us. I asked her what the Blue Monster consisted of, she immediately spouted of what it was. Obviously, she is well trained.
Only suggestion we have is that get a lot of napkins if you get a waffle cone and planning on sitting in the rocking chairs. We went around 5:30 during the summer and we couldn't eat it fast enough.
Great place to get an ice cream

We came here twice on a family vacation. Once we had about 20 people and the service was friendly and quick even with a long line in front of us. Then I returned with my family of 5 later in the week to try more flavors. We thought our ice cream was excellent and we're pleased with the service. I even picked one flavor I ended up not liking as much and they let me trade that scoop. We can't wait to come back!

We frequent Emerald Isle often and this is a must for ice cream. From the wonderful service to the tasty ice cream and candy I recommend stopping by and at least sample something, I’m sure your tastebuds will be happy you did.
