Sol Bowls

The iced coffee and açaí bowls are always so good! I believe Sol Bowls is the reason my dog loves the beach so much. He loves walking to them in the early morning. It’s dog friendly so he’s allowed inside which is great when I walk him alone so I don’t have to tie him up outside. They are always quick to offer him a pup cup when we’re in there! I could not love this place more!

I discovered Sol Bowls from an Emerald Isle community page on Facebook. We vacation every year here. The pictures on their page looked so appetizing and I couldn’t wait to try it this year on our trip. I told my coworker about this place and they tried on their vacation back in August and absolutely loved it. I have now had a bowl almost every day on our 7 day vacation!!! Great atmosphere and delicious bowls! You can’t go wrong with your choice. We will miss this place when we head home but look so forward to making it a new part our trip in the future!

Sol Bowls is an amazing place and experience. I could eat their delicious food any day. I love the atmosphere with the beachy music playing and fun vibes. Great outdoor area for eating and sitting outside with friends. The employees were enthusiastic, kind, and always smiling. Food was quality and made fresh with many different options for everyone. I love how you can build your own bowl or make changes to anything on the menu to fit your wants or needs. Perfect for locals or anyone visiting on vacation.

Anytime I’m on the island and need a healthy snack, smoothie or coffee I stop by Sol Bowls. It can be a meal as well. The owners are so nice. All of their associates are knowledgeable and work hard to get your bowl to you quickly. The atmosphere is fresh surfer/beach vibes which I like. Stop in and get ya some!..

I love it. I had a smoothie for my first trip in - the Feelin Swell - I recommend it. My wife enjoyed the Locals Only bowl.

The 8oz bowl is snack size. If you’re a little hungry go with the 16.

Nice relaxing atmosphere. A few tables, a bar overlooking 58, some outdoor seatings, and a couple of couches and lounging areas.

This was my first time ever having one of these bowls or açaí in general. The ladies working were very sweet and gave me their recommendations. I was not disappointed! It was so good! Pictured is the “sol bowl” (with coconut flakes added). Small bowls are $9 large ones are $13 which is very reasonable if you have seen fast food prices lately 😏. All of their ingredients were fresh. Their space is decorated perfectly and their little bit of merchandise is very coastal but unlike what the rest of the beach shops carry. 10/10 would recommend. (Dog in the picture for attention, he did not eat any of the bowl 😉)

I went on a Thursday at about 8:45am in April it was quiet with very little wait. Locals get in there and try it before the “season” starts 🤪

This is an absolute must-stop every time we are in EI. The service is always great, the owners are usually there and are very friendly and engaging. All of the bowls I’ve had are excellent, though usually I go with the Sol bowl with Nutella. The bowls have a ton of fresh fruit and they don’t skimp on Nutella 😅. Both the outdoor and indoor seating are great. The inside is very nicely decorated and has a boho, calm vibe. This is our top spot in NC for a “sol bowl”!!

Sister in law suggested we try this place and I’m so glad we did. They’ve only been open few months. The food is very fresh and flavorful. Met the owners and they were super nice/down to earth. The place has some nice decor and a good vibe feel. Highly recommend as a healthy breakfast option.

Relaxed beach area atmosphere with delicious bowls! The fruit used is fresh and the many different pairings are delicious. You are able to create your own or customize the ones you pick as well. It is a definite return spot for me every time I head into town now. Best of all, everyone is friendly and helpful also!

This was our second time here in the last two days. Our 9 year old had been asking to try a smoothie bowl so she was so excited about Sol Bowls, see her review at the top! My wife and I went here today! It was my second time here since the grand opening. It was truly so freaking and good. I got a smoothie and she got this amazing bowl! If you’re in the area you have to check it out. The staff is so nice here and they truly care about their customers.

Our family LOVES Sol Bowls. Janeen and her staff are so personable and always have smiles on their faces. So wonderful having a healthy food option on the island now!! Added bonus that our kids are obsessed and now beg to eat fresh healthy food from Sol Bowls :)

During our family trip to Esmeralda Isle, we stumbled upon Sol Bowl, a cafe that exceeded our expectations in every way. Even though I typically don't enjoy açaí bowls, I'm still craving their Sol Bowl over a week later. It was an absolute delight!

We had the pleasure of trying a few different recipes, including the Day Break bowl pictured, but the Sol Bowl itself was the standout. Its flavors were perfectly balanced and truly hit the mark. I couldn't get enough of it! The cafe's commitment to quality and taste was evident in every bite.

The best Açaí bowl I have ever eaten!! The staff was so friendly and the environment was so clean. The staff were all super hardworking and it didn’t take long to get three bowls! So yummy and a must visit if you are near the area ! 😊😊

This place is AMAZING. My family and I are here on vacation and stopped in to try this place and we were not disappointed! The açaí bowl we had was absolutely 20/10 incredible!! The staff were so sweet and the atmosphere was inviting and clean. I am gluten free and was pleased to see they have GF granola! :). Will definitely be returning before we leave!

This place is AMAZING! The owner is such a pleasure to speak with and their story is so awesome to hear. The bowls are refreshing and packed to the top. Inside the store is a bright and positive vibe—a must go when you are on the island!
