this place has the BEST tacos and burritos! if you haven’t, tried California Taco, you need to. they have the best service too. vibes are the spectacular. they were even open in the snow and had our food out in less than 10min.

to the owners — PLEASE open a worcester location. we need one in MA. you guys would make bank.

So tacos are my absolute favorite food and I haven't eaten all day so I swung into the first place I saw and ordered whatever the special was. Let me tell you it was special and probably the best food I've ever eaten. The food was made fresh but didn't take long at all. The tacos were so flavorful and the crunch when I bit into them. This is my new favorite spot. I've never had anything so good.

I went to California Taco Shop after a quick side gig. I was immediately drawn in to the colorful dining area. On the left was the counter to order.

I ended up ordering the nacho fries with shredded chicken. Which looked and sounded delicious. By the time I was able to eat it, about an hour and a half later, it was still slightly warm, and a tasty mess of melted cheese, chicken, and potato-ey goodness. Two spoonfuls of guacamole and sour cream stood atop the carbohydrate madness.

Of note was that some of the fries looked like they bonded to the styrofoam the food was placed in. That didn't look too appetizing.

The staff there were friendly and the food prepared in about 10-15 minutes.

No score on sustainability or Covid precaution safety measures.

Personally, this is the best Mexican food I’ve had in Rhode Island the food is top tier, the service is amazing they are all so nice, and the atmosphere is unreal for authentic Mexican food, it really gives you that California Taco vibe hence the name. I 10/10 recommend coming here for a lunch or a quick dinner I try to come here as much as possible this place is elite.

Grabbed dinner here for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. Best birria tacos and the cruchy tacos hit the spot. We will definitely be back!

Stopped this afternoon while in search of some traditional tacos and boy, they did not disappoint. Got 4 assorted tacos and they were fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Next time I'm in the area I will be back!

We came here for the taco challenge. The soft tacos were fresh and really tasty! Exceeded expectations and we will be back.

Oct 5th was my 1st time at California Tacos using RI Food Fights Coupons. The Food is Soooooo Gooooood. I will be back. It's a must try!

I got the birria and hard supreme tacos. All the ingredients were really fresh. Tasted great. I didn't have to wait. Prices were good. Birria tacos were huge. The side of hot sauce was extremely spicy. 🥵 🥵 Maybe a little too spicy. I like spicy sauce but I don't expect to start choking.

This is the best taco spot hands down! There hard Tacos are $1 each and cannot be beat. I can polish off 10 in a sitting. Food and sauces are always hot and fresh, the people are always super friendly. Only downside is food is slow coming out of the kitchen so be prepared to wait, especially if they are even the tiniest bit busy. But if you're in no rush the food is definitely worth the wait.

My first time ordering here. My son wanted a taco for snack. We got the 8 pack. It was really delicious. I have not tried their other offerings but based on the tacos we had, I would be coming back. Service was quick. Reasonable parking. I see they have outside dining as well though it was not open yet. Probably a nice place for casual dining in the summer.
