Introduction:
This was my first time and my boyfriend has been at Carl Venezia Fresh Meats a couple of times.

Experience:
Absolutely wonderful!

Welcome:
Vinny waited on us and he gave us the BEST customer service experience that we have received (at this type of establishment) in a long time! He was kind, funny, helpful, and just a sweet person!!

Ambiance:
The butcher shop, refrigerators, and the meat display case were clean. The products in the refrigerator looked/were fresh. The meat in the display case looked/were fresh.

Food:
We purchased beef bacon (one of our favorites), ground meat and peas arancini, parmesan arancini, beef tips, and steak.

Price:
The quality and quantity of the food was worth the price.

Will return:
We will definitely return! We were very happy with the service! There is no need for us to look for another butcher shop.

I give it 5 stars.

The best steaks. I have purchased Fillet Mignon several times and they always turned out fantastic. Their in house deli sandwiches are amazing and they makes a great array of homemade precooked foods. An A+

Great local spot. Recently moved to the Conshy area and was very excited to see a local butcher shop. Very Philly, at home atmosphere inside.
Enjoyed chopping it up with the staff, no pun intended.
Went in originally and bought a couple T-Bones, they were absolutely delicious. Immediately went back and put in a bulk order, which I highly recommend! Grocery stores are cranking the prices especially on meat products. Carl Venezia’s has great bulk freezer orders to help out with finances. I loaded my freezer up with T-bones, delmonicos, sirloins, chip steak, ground beef, London broil, a massive roast, and even some of the dog food options they have. Love how everything is clearly labeled as well. All cuts have been delicious thus far. Can’t wait to go back and place my next order. Support local business!

Love this place. There aren't many butchers around so glad to have gotten the recommendation from friends. If they don't have what you want on-hand, they're really accommodating in getting it in within a few days. I'm a fan of their short ribs since you can often get them before they're cut. I've also had them get picanha for me with about a 2-3 day notice. Super friendly.

I just had the best Tenderloin steak of my life, seriously. Ask for Alex, he was very helpful and made great recommendations. He brought out large cuts and helped me select exactly what was best.

It is worth noting that the business was heavily staffed and customers waited for no longer than 30 seconds for service. Employees seemed happy to be there, very friendly environment.

I was looking for prime rib for Christmas. I searched for a local butcher shop and found Carl Venezia Fresh Meat, which wasn’t far from home. I asked about the prime rib, asked for 3 ribs, it was fresh cut and tied and an absolutely gorgeous piece of meat. It wasn’t any more expensive than the grocery stores, but I knew it was going to be worth every penny. Had it for Christmas dinner and it was delicious!!! The meat was tender and had flavor. Excellent in every way, including the staff who were beyond friendly. Found out they were all from my neighborhood. Honestly, I don’t think I could buy grocery store meat ever again. THANK YOU ALL!!! First time there today. Wow! What a great selection of meats etc. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I opted for the hot Italian sausage and the long rolls, roomie got the roasted pork. Both are incredibly awesome. Will definitely be a repeat customer. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They have the best of everything. Their chip steak is paper thin and so fresh. And definitely buy your hot dogs from them. Literally, everything you buy will put a smile on your face. And everyone in the shop is friendly and helpful.

Discovered this fine diamond while driving by during work. Have purchased numerous perfectly prepared beef rib roasts, I roast these in my walk-in fireplace on a reflector oven.. absolutely delicious. The staff is knowledgeable & awesome. Freezer items are wonderful, Bison burgers & their beef burgers are very tasty. This is now my go to place for quality products. It's also fun shopping there. Many thanks Best-Steve S.

Love that I can go there and not be rushed and if I don't know the cut of meat I can just tell them what I want to make. Best meats and prepared foods even better service. Even the other customers are great.

My go to neighborhood butcher! Hands down this is the nicest group of people I have ever done business with. They make you feel like family when you are there. The prices are incredibly fair and the quality of meat is fantastic. Great variety, clean atmosphere and awesome location.

The absolute best place for fresh butchered meats and other fresh items. There are really nice folks who work there who are not only friendly but also very helpful when you are buying something for a special occasion and are trying to figure out how much you need and how to cook it. These guys have lots of good tips to share. They have the type of knowledge that gets to the point fast, which I'm sure was developed after many years working there.

They have lots of good stuff, including their home made meatballs (raw or precooked), but to me their best item is their steaks. Whenever we buy them I always get compliments from friends about how tasty their steaks are and they ask me where I purchased them. I've had steaks from many suppliers, including some very expensive ones. None of them compare to the steaks from Carl Venezia Fresh Meats.

They still run their shop like the good old' days - when you could trust your butcher to give you something that is freshly cut that day or hour. I haven't tried their seafood, and there isn't much there anyway, but their steaks, chicken, meatballs, etc. are all really fantastic.

I never take time to write reviews but this place is where we get all our meats for holidays and family parties. Great quality meats! We love them and the gentlemen who work there are so kind and helpful. I went in today to get raviolis and came up to the counter to ask a simple question and the woman behind the counter was so rude and said excuse I’m helping someone else ☝🏼and seemed extremely irritated that I even approached her. It bothered me that much I had to put it in a review. Other than that we love it here, and my husband’s family have been coming here since this place opened.

Stopped in here for the first time and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. The customer service was over the moon! You know you're in the right place when customers are raving about the quality of the meat. 10/10 will be back regularly for all of our butchering needs. The burgers are now a household favorite 😋.

Carl Venezia's is excellent! We have never been disappointed by the quality or selection. They also go above and beyond! Once I requested liver and ground meat as I was making a meatloaf. I told them I would be grinding them up together and they actually offered to do it for me! I had been dreading this myself as it is messy (and I wasn't so keen on eating liver either... it was a doctor's order at the time). They told me to pick it up at the end of the day as they'd take care of it for me so I wouldn't have to. That was amazing! The meatloaf came out perfect and absolutely delicious! I owe it to their great staff and the quality of products. Thank you for all you do!
