Ridge Resort

I take the Amtrak train from Dallas three or four times a year and stay overnight at the Ridge (on my way to the lake house at Horseshoe Bend). Whatever room I'm given, it's clean, simple and a nice place to hang your hat at a reasonable price.
Never had a problem. If you're in the area and need a place a stay, I suggest you give the Ridge a call.

Our stay was very pleasant, we stayed for a few weeks and it was lovely, we were allowed to cook in a hot pan so that was nice, we did our laundry there & it's very affordable. Right now we're staying at a motel that doesn't allow us to cook and even the owner told us "that's too much stuff you're unloading, I don't want it in there, take it back" it was shocking to say the least. We still got our things when he walked away. Anyway, I wish we had lovely owners & people working at the inn like Lisa & her daughter. Thank you!

They were absolutely adorable. The rooms were cozy and clean. The lady took our call earlier that evening and she knew we had to come down for my nephews graduation. Everywhere in Jonesboro was completely booked up. Now I am glad they were. I would have never had the chance to experience this wonderful little spot!
The location was excellent, prices were phenomenal, quality was great, and the customer service was A-1!!! I would totally recommend!!!

The Callahan Hotel in Walnut Ridge, AR. was amazing. The hotel was very charming and comfortable. The neighborhood is fantastic. There are a number of fast food restaurants with in walking distance. A short walk down the way leads to the town's center which houses a few cool shops and some really cool Beatles' paraphernalia. Not sure why, but it was cool to see.

Barbra, the woman that welcomed us, was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. The rooms are much bigger than I would have expected with hardwood floors and plenty of closet and drawer space. The beds were super comfortable. I'm so glad we found the Callahan Hotel and can't wait to get back.

This is a hotel own and ran by a true red blooded American. It is a very clean, with comfortable beds. Good rates. Very nice people running the place. 100% nonsmoking rooms. Pet friendly. This my 2nd nite here and I drove 40 miles from where I need to be to stay here again.

Perfect clean cheap quiet spot! I'm here working on 67 to pocahontas..dump truck driver..these bad reviews are false..I was honestly concerned but had no other option..this is a pleasant surprise. I'll be staying more next couple weeks..including pic of my dump truck from my motel room as proof of a legit review

Had a lovely stay here while in town for a few nights visiting some friends. The room was very clean and room service was great! Conveniently located next to several fast food places like McDonald’s, Sonic, and Taco Bell. Will definitely be staying here again next time I’m in town.

Stayed there a month or so ago for a 2nd time and it was great. When I arrived, I called and was given a room and it was nice and clean. Quiet area as well. Thank you

Ok, I’m not gonna lie I am scared of motels, I usually stay at Hilton or holiday inn when traveling but was in need of a hotel in the area so we checked it out. For what I expected the rooms were very nice! Alittle wierd smell I believe because they are older, but I could tell they had been recently updated. Comfortable beds, clean, very worth the price.

This hotel is now under new ownership and new management. The property is very clean and cozy. The new management are making improvements to the hotel daily. Pets are welcome.

I stayed a few months ago when I was in town for a funeral. The room upgrades are great! I will definitely return the next time I'm in town.
