1st Choice Healthcare - Walnut Ridge

Everyone here is so friendly!! I’ve never had anything but a positive experience with each visit since becoming a patient in 2015.

I'm very excited to say they handled my 2 brown Recluse spider bites with the utmost care and quickness! I had it almost 2 weeks ago and my site is healing up like a normal scrape or scratch about the size of a nickel or little bigger. The 2 bites merged into one. I love Dr Edat, and the staff, Connie is an amazing nurse too. Thanks you all for saving my life! 🤗☺

I have been with 1st Choice since 2009. Their sliding pay scale made it possible for me to get the medical attention I could not afford at the time. Since then, their excellent insurance proffessionals have helped me to acquire health insurance, at no charge. My PCP is awesome, as is the entire staff.

The wait times are minimal and the secretarys at the front desk are very friendly and ready to help. Everyone from nurses to Drs. that I have seen have been very friendly and helpful. This is a good office to bring your family to. There is one Dr. there that is not helpful. That's why the 4 stars not 5.

I switched to this clinic about 3 years ago because the Family Clinic with Dr Shawn Peyton was painfully slow and my appointment times were never on time, I always had to wait 2-3 hours past the appointment time. Melissa Carter is who I see now. She is always smiling, kind, interested in what the patient is saying and has always been friendly and professional not to mention she is always on time with her appointments. I'm very pleased with this clinic and the staff here.
