This store is heaven for Warhammer fans. Everything you want, nice people to help you through the hobby and to tie it all together there is Richard. Richard is the manager of the store and knows EVERYTHING about Warhammer and is one of the nicest people around. The items are cool and the community is dope but I keep coming back for the warm welcome Richard always gives me no matter how much time has passed. Go out of your way to get something from here and meet the legend Richard.

Excellent shop whether you’re new to Warhammer or not. The store manager Richard was wonderful at explaining how everything worked and what the different options were. And the regulars playing on site made it clear this was a great space. We came in as newcomers but left as major fans. Great store!

I wish I could rate higher than five stars! My son and I visited for the first time last week, and Richard was friendly, enthusiastic, and so helpful in introducing us to Warhammer. The other players in the store were also warm and welcoming, and answered our questions ranging from faction preferences to advice on how to transport minis. The store itself is well laid out and has a comprehensive selection of minis, books, accessories, and everything else needed for the hobby. We left with an armful of supplies and minis, and are so excited to start our Warhammer journey! We can’t wait to visit the store again.

I've been a customer for over a year, and continue to think it's the best place for GW products in the area.

I'm from Long Island, but have been passing through the area twice in the past few months. First time was to see if this store was similar to my local GW store, second time was because Richard, the manager, was such and awesome dude, super friendly and welcoming, and I wanted to give this store my business and say hello again. Ended up walking out with a baneblade and a bunch more IG stuff than I intended on buying but that's just part of the hobby. GW- you really scored with this guy.

I'm relatively new to warhammer and the construction/painting of mini figures. That be one said, I will be coming back here frequently. When I first came, I met a passionate clientele that was happy to help me explore this new interest, as well as probably the most knowledgeable and helpful staff of anywhere I've ever been. The actual store had space to build, paint, and even use any models, and Richard (the owner) personally helped teach me all about every aspect of the hobby. He gave me lessons to build and paint, all for free. And he seemed enthusiastic to get someone else interested in the hobby that he clearly has a passion for. Even if you don't have a huge passion for the hobby, I recommend you stop in and learn more about it from Richard, cause if anyone can make you interested, it's definitely him!

The resident Games Workshop associate, Richard, is what makes this store such a good one. I have been to multiple Warhammer and Games Workshop stores and Richard has the best balance of being relatable, a good salesman (using charm rather than being pushy), a true fan of the hobby, and a man capable of juggling customers, intros, answering rule questions for gaming, etc. Games Workshop found someone who is truly capable of wearing every hat one of their associates must wear when running one of their stores. As a result it is a welcoming place for new or experienced players of all ages.

The members of Warhammer Stamford are exceptionally professional and knowledgeable of the store, and of the product. No matter how many times I go there, the stores manager Richard has always been courteous and of the utmost help. The environment that he creates is inviting, and he's always happy to see new faces.

Richard is an absolute legend, a calming accent from Portsmouth England, the lad has everything you need for a gaming hobby. I’m very new to the warhammer 40k experience and he took the time to talk armies, painting and rules. He invited me back for a 1v1 teaching session. Games Workshop has an absolute rockstar running the show here and I’m looking forward to learning as much as possible From this legendary games workshop veteran.

My boyfriend and I love coming here! They're so friendly and knowledgeable, it really makes the 45 minute drive to the store absolutely worth it! We can't wait to start playing and painting with the community once summer comes around!

This place is so fun. I am just starting out with the hobby and the staff has been so helpful and fun to chat with. Funny I found prices in this Warhammer shop to be a bit cheaper than prices at a regular game store and even online. So all around a great stop, knowledgeable folks and they seem to go out of their way to accommodate you. I do hope to see this place expand its services.

Friendly manager who explained and answered questions thoroughly. We went in this shop thinking it sold a variety of miniatures and tabletop games but it’s exclusively for Warhammer merchandise; manager offered to explain the game mechanics and give us a demo/allow us to sample painting a miniature. Would recommend a visit.

This is a Phenomenal store, I went here today to make my first few purchases to get into Warhammer 40k. I was amazed by the cleanliness of the store, the very well done models on the display case, and the detailed board that they had set up for anyone to play a game of Warhammer on. The manager was fantastic and really helped me make my decisions, having never painted before, his guidance really helped me on what paints and brushes to get, and he didn't try to force me to buy anything unnecessary. I would recommend this place to anyone who is even mildly interested in Warhammer
