Great service and campsite we go every year. It had new facilities including bathrooms and showers. The showers are $2 for two minutes. #Buffalotrip2019

Just went on a canoe trip with 2 adults, a child and a puppy. These guys are great, knowledgeable, and friendly. A lady personally made sure we got the correct size life jacket for our child 👍 The canoe was in great shape and we had the best day ever! The water is blue/green, reminded us of the ocean at key west. The scenery was amazing and with Buffalo River Canoes directions, we pulled our canoe out at the river bank and hiked to Hemmed in Hollow Falls. Beautiful! At the end they helped us pull our canoe out too and had our car waiting for us. 5 thumbs up from our family!

Excellent company to get your boat from on the river. Very friendly, helpful, and professional. There store has a huge amount of selection. Lots of social distancing measures and precautions being taken.

We called around to find a shuttle since we were bringing our own boats, and Buffalo River Canoes offered the lowest price of three outfitters we called. Others have stated in their reviews that they were not told how the shuttle service worked, but all the outfitters we contacted worked the same way, and this was thoroughly explained at the time of the inquiry (by all three outfitters). The office staff was very knowledgeable about river conditions and what could be expected, and helped us choose a better section of the river more suited to our plans. As it turns out, the weather was a little miserable and we also dumped one of our boats and therefore decided to get off the river two days early. We were standing there in the parking lot of Kyle's Landing with no cell service and wondering how we were going to get back to civilization when a Buffalo River Canoes truck pulled up. They happened to be down there to pick up a day float, but they dropped their trailer and ran to get our van for us right then. It was a lifesaver. When we finally got our stuff loaded and stopped at the office on the way out, they also helped us find a place to stay for the night. These guys went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Thank you!

Very polite and helpful staff. Went on a three day two night trip down the river and somehow finished it in only a day and a half with a one night stay. Paid for the shuttle service which put me in a pickle. Was able to call at our destination take out point and they worked hard to get my vehicle to me a day earlier than expected. I was a newbie and they shared information that was very helpful. The young man at drop in told me what to look for as far as overpasses and that we would take out before the second overpass on the third day. This was critical information. When we saw the second overpass on our second day about mid afternoon I began looking around and noticed the take out point at hasty on top of a hill to the right and asked the staff there what takeout point this was and they said hasty.
We never saw the Ozark site. Had a17 yr old young man with me on the trip and he had a good time. Based on my experience with Buffalo River Canoes, I highly recommend them.

I used their service to float 100 miles during a 4 day stretch - from Ponka to Rush Landing. I think they may have made special accommodations for us to go farther than what they typically service. The staff was knowledgeable, accommodating, and the kayaks were great for our needs. We intended on floating for 5 days but we finished early. BRC was within minutes of our landing spot to drop our car off a day early... Would recommend this service to adventurers. Thank you to Alex for taking a few minutes to train me on a knot to better tie down my gear.

This service is awesome! I used them last year and loved the fact they’ll move your car for you! I wish there was more service’s like this for section hiking.. I see that some of the negative reviews giving it one star for the very reason this service should get 5 stars.. I mean with the way it’s setup you only have to deal with them once (before you even begin the trip) and the rest of the trip is your own flow!

I've used a lot of outfitters all over the country, and this place is one of the best. They worked really hard to accommodate our group when we changed plans mid trip. Jesse knows his stuff. Make sure to take everything in and listen to what he says before starting your float.

Very nice place. Be aware that you have to drive your own vehicle down to the river where you put in. Then they charge you $37 to drive your vehicle and drop it off for you at the end of the float. That way it will be waiting on you.

They don't shuttle you to the drop off spot from the outfitters. Kinda different from most others I've used.

They have wonderful staff and are very flexible and helpful. We were on a 7-day float and felt safe and comfortable with everything on the trip because they prepared us well. The canoes, PFDs, and paddles were good quality and worked well on our trip. I highly recommend this company.

The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The shuttle rates were the cheapest we could find and canoe rental was Affordable. Their life jackets were provided with the rental and were excellent quality. We will definitely use them again!

The staff is awesome in every way from check-in to take out. One of their employees waded into the fast flowing water at Kyle's Landing to rescue a non-responsive guy that had fallen off his kayak. The guy could have easily been killed in the rocks and trees a short distance down river, but the employee saved him for sure by snatching him by the PFD. Nice job!!!

Jesse and his crew have taken great care of my family and friends for the past 14 years. We make an annual trip down to Heather Hill cabins and float the river three times in the week we are here. I would highly recommend Buffalo River Canoes to anyone looking for a nice getaway into nature. We will continue to come back for years to come. Thanks Jesse!

The girls at the front were very helpful. They helped us book our canoes on father's day with ease. The store is clean and has all of your essentials for floating like coozies and t shirts, snacks, etc. Near the river in a nice location. Easy to find.

Great Folks....know how to treat customers Bought my Jackson Big Rig from them last year....

Much much better than their competitors at Ponca.

We went on a float yesterday.. Did Ponca to Kyle's. When we arrived I realized that I had forgotten our paddles.... Yup I had a tater head moment..... I decided to try to rent paddles... The folks on the left in Ponca wouldn't even consider it..... I even asked the manager? Didn't want my money unless we were renting rides from them.... But of course they had paddles for sale she said...

Well I wasn't going to buy new paddles... We went up to Buffalo River Canoes and these Gals underground and took pity on a Fatboy who was "up the creek without a paddle" quite literally lol.... They rented me a pair and away we went.... And they were very friendly and easy to deal with...

I'd recommend them for your float rental needs on the Buffalo.....

Friendly staff. Nice kayaks. Came with mesh trash bags which was convenient. They were there to pick up the kayaks when we were done & our car was waiting for us. Had a fun time on the river!

Floated yesterday with a sit on top kayak. Quality of the Kayak was great. They let me borrow a bungee cord to strap my cooler on to the back. I was a little apprehensive about letting someone I didn't know drive my car but it was totally fine. Worked out perfectly. Floated from Pruitt to Hasty.
