We stopped here while on vacation. They have a nice collection of a variety of different peanuts, jams, honey, jerky, and other food items as well as handmade crafts. The employees were very friendly and helpful. They really do have famous peanuts here! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area

It was good, peanuts hot and fresh. Been coming to this location for a long long time. The taste is always good. The prices are a little high though.

Charming spot just outside Helen with awesome cider, canned goods and of course delicious peanuts! Staff were sweet and let us sample some cider and nuts and we left with a big jug of peach cider and some Cajun peanuts too!

Famous for a reason. Definitely must stop here to visit and pick up some goodies.

We always have to stop here when we are in town. Their peanuts are really good. We also love trying their different jams and jellies. Their store is super cute too! You have to walk up and say hi to the fake puppet people on their porch! 🤣 I was surprised a couple years ago and today my children were surprised!

This is the only place that was a must do for my husband! Boiled peanuts. I did pick up some local honey and fried spicy peanuts. This place is a must stop if you are in the area.

Delicious peanuts and cider. They allow taste testing so you know what you are buying and the staff are very easy going.

Not much in the way of varied portions however the peanuts are delicious. They provide a sample, so worth checking out

I had the wonderful pleasure of visiting Fred's Famous Peanuts when I was on a guided bus tour from Florida with my Dad and enjoyed every minute of it. I would love to go back without nearly 60 other people, as you can see in the pictures. They were very kind and even opened their business to us an hour earlier than usual. The samples were plenty and I wanted to buy every single one of them but had to settle for one of their high quality T-shirts and a giant bottle of the Peach Flavored Apple Cider. So good!

Great small shack on the side of the road. Gave us samples of fried and boiled peanuts. Everything was delicious they were very friendly. Offered to help us of we were lost

Love coming here. We always make sure to stop for boiled peanuts when up in the mountains. They have regular and Cajun and the Cajun ones are amazing! Awesome local honey, fried peanuts, peanut brittle, peach cider, and so much more! The staff is very welcoming and nice they enjoy telling stories and offering samples to all their products.

Nice shop with 2 flavors of boiled peanuts regular and Cajun. Plenty of other organic and custom drinks, jerky, peach cider. The employees are very friendly and the peanuts were excellent.

Unique hole-in-the-wall type road side peanut store. You can get great boiled peanuts, local honey, and other homemade favorites from here. Always friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful guys and amazing product! Grabbed some cajun pork rinds for my husband who sadly couldn’t join us. My sister and mom talk about this place so I had to stop by.

$6 for a large bag of boiled peanuts that are the easiest shelling boiler's i have ever eaten, not to mention delicious! The cajun pair well with a margarita or two 😉

This adorable little shop is a can't miss. Great service. We bought fried peanuts, boiled peanuts and cinnamon twists. They were all fabulous!
