Live Oak Recreational Park Boat Launch

Stopped in to check out the facilities. What a great little site. Easy access for boat launching. This place is a hidden gem with lots of amenities and hardly anyone there.

We choose this place for our kids first ever camping trip. Its only 4 mins away from our house which I love, its absolutely beautiful out there. Every space has at least 2 tables a fire pit, bbq grill, water spicket.and a portable potty for a bathroom that is so clean it looked brand new. That surprised me. We even checked the others and the same. This campground is so clean and beautiful. The camp host was very nice and accommodating. We can't wait to go back. Its a nice little slice of heaven getaway in your own towns backyard ❤

camping Area are close but the boat launch are still accessible 5$ day

Per Sutter County General Svcs- Camping is closed as of 12/1/23 but day use and the boat launch remain open. Will update as soon as are able to reopen camping but it may be several months.

Cute little place close to home. Dry camping no running water or flush toilets. It's nice and shaded though

Beautiful , quite & very clean. The camp host does his job very well. I thought the park had all new grills .But no he just keeps everything so very nice and neat. But be warned ,don't think you can just come for the day or night without paying .This guy does his job. Plus they have free life jackets for day use for the kids to keep them safe. It was quiet, clean and very well run. The grounds keeper was kind, considerate and friendly. He does a great job keeping everything running well! My grandkids really liked seeing his little dog. :)
I would have stayed longer but there is a 3 night limit. I'm sure the limit is a deterent.

This is a beautiful little park for a day trip picnic or to camp for a few days..would be a perfect area for a family reunion/get together. It is right on the feather river with a dock so you can take your boat along if you've a mind to fish awhile or just enjoy the river scenery and birds.

Great place to camp close to home. Just wish people wouldn't ruin the water there. So there isn't any running water.

Love the place not the people. On ground management is awesome but some people feel like its a place to party and they do to the extent of ignorance and try running over people but just to clear it up the staff tries to keep it a safe place for kids and family's to stay at and enjoy their self.

The place was very well kept. If you take a boat upriver ,be very careful , it's super shallow in spots and props are easily damaged.

They charge money when the rivers are free the city hall needs to provide for the cleaning that's why the state give them money for that call "budget". The old man charging money he doesn't supposed to charge anything or the city that's why we pay taxes. I hope this messages get to the California state of treasure that Live Oak California ZIP CODE 95953 its getting charge to used a public river AKA RECREATION PARK.

Clean, well-maintained, and the on site caretaker is a great guy. Good for RV stays or day use. Gets busy in striper and salmon season.

Nice place the caretaker was awesome kids loved it so clean and quiet wish we could of stayed longer but it's a 3 night maximum

I just want to let Don know that he's an amazing guy you helped us out a lot with my family situation you put up with drama that you didn't need to and I just want to let you know that I'm very appreciative of that thanks old man your big buddy joey

Nice place to camp, there's a boat dock and a boat ramp. Good fishing also.

It's gorgeous here! Didn't catch any fish but it seemed like everyone else did!

Love this place Quiet I went with my boyfriend last yr. We had the best time.
