Great friendly customer service!!

I am grateful for the fast, friendly service at this post office. Carl even recommended a cheaper "pay-by-weight" Priority Mail for shipping shorter distances.

Only reason they even get two stars is because of Destry. Everyone else in the office is just plain rude. I can’t speak for all but our carrier is straight up the worst to deal with. She completely refuses to deliver our packages but will still mark them as delivered. At first it was because our dog (who’s runner doesn’t even come near the mailbox) was outside and when we confronted her about not delivering our things when we knew for an absolute fact the dog was indoors she told us she’s not supposed to get out on “that side of town” so now we have to pick up every package and sometimes our mail (depending on if she even felt like delivering it or not((she kinda just chooses when we get our mail and when we don’t))). Then there’s dude in the office. Last time i went in he was chatting it up with a friend on the OFFICE phone WHILE HE HAD A CUSTOMER. Didn’t even bother to tell the woman in front of me to have a good day or anything and then when I asked for my package proceeded to get an attitude with me as if it was an inconvenience for him to have to put his buddy on hold and do what he literally gets paid to do.

Constantly saying they made an attempt to deliver to my house and today they said they attempted at 4:23 and they never even came by because I was out front the whole time and so I call and nobody answers the

They cant read at the live oak post office. Every other day i get mail from other people people that live dozens of houses away. Ive gotten prescription meds, bills, pay checks all of them needing to go nowhere near me. Makes me wonder how much mail ive lost because of this. Ive gone down there to set them straight but nobody even acts like it matters. And there is no way to call them. All i have to say is you better get your act together before i go to the postmaster or whomever cares about mail in this state.

Was suppose to recieve a package on the 18th but when tracking it, the shipping it said it was at the Live Oak post office and was getting ready to be delivered, didnt receive it that day so I figured the next day. No delivery the next day either. I called and they said it should have been delivered but they see that it wasnt. They continue to make excuses about losing my package. Said they would look around and would call back TWICE and never called back at all. Went in to talk to someone and they said they would call me after the delivery driver returned and once again never called back. Called them back to see if there was any update and they said they never talked to anyone about my package. Now I wont have my package for Christmas and it's still missing. I understand Christmas is a busy time of year, things happen but they made no effort into looking or even communicating with me about it. They really could care less.

I've attempted several times to do business at my local post office here in Live Oak, each time resulted in a bad experience. Each worker I've encountered has always been rude or short when spoken to. Couldn't even open a P.O. Box, although all of the requirements were fulfilled. Worker claimed there were new requirements, but couldn't provide documentation to show as truth. I went to Yuba City with the same requirements and had NO problems. Having to go to another town to do anything postal is ridiculous, but worth the trip to be treated respectfully.

If these guys were private they would have been out of business years ago. I get other peoples' mail, voting ballots, packages, an other people get the same of mine. I get postcards from the county saying I missed jury duty. I have no idea what they're talking about. I'll just keep buying things twice I guess, if I can't use FedEX or UPS.

Tried to purchase Christmas stamps around 11 am at Live Oak post office. Two employees ? overwhelmed (again) by having three customers ? I asked for specific Christmas stamps. Employee said "Christmas stamps locked up in the safe. The boss needs to be here to open safe to obtain Christmas stamps." My response was "this is Christmas, are these different from regular stamps?" His answer was "these stamps are for Christmas only and boss keeps Christmas stamps in safe until Christmas." So without further drama I purchased regular stamps not wanting to wait for "boss" to come in ?? Everytime
we try to purchase, mail or
discuss with Live Oak Post office employees is like they are (have been smoking weed BIGLEY). Closed Saturday and closed @
4pm during week ? Only reason for one star... could not have choice for zero "0" star ! Embarrassing bunch of civil servants (employees) ? wasting Taxpayers Money.

I live on a little dead end street on date street in live oak ca and they regularly skip my street when I have mail or packages on the truck I think it’s coming cause it on the truck and the mail won’t come this week there was 4 days in a row I didn’t get mail or get mine picked up

Always rude package gets to the post office and sits for a day or so before it gets delivered to you. East of money using the USPS.........

Reading these reviews makes me not want to go in here so I’ll let you know how it goes🤷🏽‍♂
