I went in on Sunday 5/26 to find someone to help me finding a new skimmer door. The two gentlemen that were working there were fantastic! After going to 3 other pool stores and getting laughed at for having an “older” pool it was refreshing to have these gentlemen who greeted me warmly and helped me out tremendously! They explained that it is an old part and that they were not able to order it anymore. They gave me the part number and item description so I could order a custom one through Amazon. I’m very thankful for the kindness shown by these two and I’ll be back to order chemicals once I need them for my “old” pool.

Zack was extremely helpful in answering my questions and helping me find my needed products. He informed me of some of there other services which also really put me at ease bc I'm nervous about my new hot tub and not messing chemicals up.

Adam the operations manager for
pool’s Plus has been outstanding to work with. We need a new vinyl liner for our foxx pool that was installed originally by Pool’s Plus in 1987. Adam has been amazing regarding a fair quote and excellence in staying in touch with me through the initial stages of this project. The liner is to be installed next spring and I am confident it will go exactly as planned. Thanks again Adam!

Very thankful for the help and patience of the staff for all the questions and advice as a first time pool owner.

Our pool had not been opened in years so I was at the store trying to determine our next step pretty often!

And pricing is right in line with what you’d get elsewhere.

Update - service has gone downhill. Store manager, Dan? At the Plainfield location (not wearing a mask even though the entrance says masks required), wouldn’t lift his finger to look into when I purchased my hot tub. One of the other employees was able to find the information. When I asked about the warranty (basic question about how long they are with new hot tubs) he said he couldn’t answer that question and that I would have to call Pools Plus Service or the hot tub company directly. He was very nonchalant and seemed to be doing nothing while everyone else was working. I asked if he had the number for pools plus service and he sat behind his desk and said they were closed today...thanks for telling me to call them and not offering that info. And also nice customer service after spending $$$$$ - not even writing the phone numbers on a piece of paper for me. The management speaks volumes about a company and with the kind of $ we have spent here, you would think the bar would be higher than Walmart.

Update - I stopped by the store yesterday to ask some technical questions about cleaning my hot tub. Way different experience. I will return again.

Bryan Larocque, the store manager at Pools Plus on Plainfield Ave. went above and beyond to help me diagnose and figure out the next best option on our 7 year old Dolphin. He was patient, kind, courteous and helped me load the new Dolphin and the old one into my car. I would recommend this location for your pool needs. He does a great job managing the store.

We had our pool installed in 2017 by PP and have had great experience when needed. Last summer was the first time our pool was green and when we hit a wall with it almost clear but stubborn (2 weeks in), I reached out to Scott (the owner) and he himself came out to our home to assess the situation and he was able to not only fix it, but took video and talked through it to use it to teach his staff in their weekly educational meetings. I would recommend Scott and his team if you are looking to put in a pool!

We just bought a house and when we put in our offer the sellers must have turned off the pool system and just let it sit for sixty days because it was GROSS! We went into the store today and Jordan (sorry if that spelling is wrong) was so kind and helpful. They seriously went above and beyond in helping us gather everything and told us we can definitely handle this! After getting us all the supplies and so patiently explaining things (a few times hehe) to me husband and I, they told us to bring back a water sample once we killed the algae growing in that thing to help us figure out the rest. They even told us to call with questions. SO KIND! Great experience!

I have my pool water tested at Pools Plus on Plainfield. The employees are very helpful and explain the test thoroughly. There is no charge for the water test. I usually need a product (but not always), and the staff are very helpful in explaining what I need and how to apply the products to the pool. Going to Pools Plus for pool supplies is a good experience!

Overall great experience! The general manager and operations manager were very knowledgeable and provided great customer service. Not to mention, they offer free water tests to know exactly what chemicals are needed with a wide selection of products - 10/10!

As usual... satisfied!!

Bryan & Nicole were on point when hooking me up with chemicals, robotic cleaner & accessories.
I have been to other facilities and they have failed to meet basic customer service.

I will continue to shop here and suggest others to utilize Pools Plus...

Came to get a suggestion for a Forrest green pool. The gentlemen were able to decifer what this frustrated rookie pool owner was saying and gave an appropriate recipe to get rid of our lake. Would highly recommend.

Katelyn went above and beyond to help me out. She was extremely diligent and patient making calls to track down what we needed. It was the first time I used this store but it won't be the last! Expect more visits from Rolling Pines Apartments! :)

A big thank you to Trevor for his consistantly excellent service over the past couple years at this store. Top notch customer service in attitude as well as ability. He knows pools and pool chemicals inside and out and is one of the main reasons we continue to shop with Pools Plus. He helped us at the 29th street store last year and we go to him now at the Plainfield location. Thanks for the great pool service, Trevor!

Hayden was an excellent source of information! He answered questions with ease and helped us great exactly the product we needed. He was knowledgeable,friendly, polite and made us feel like important customers! A++ in customer service!

Zach was super awesome and helpful with the hot tub on our home purchase. We will come back here all the time for hot tub prep!

Staff has been immeasurably helpful since we moved into a new home with a hot tub. We had no experience maintaining a hot tub before we went to pools plus. They were great and got me all set up.

Followed Jordan from your south store to the north. She is our pool super hero and a bight friendly face every visit. She goes above and beyond and we appreciate pools plus with all the help they've been these past two years we've owned a pool.

The Plainfield Pools Plus has been lifesaver when it comes to helping us maintain our pool and hot tub. Quick service and always the right recommendations.
