Perry Lowe Orchards

Had a wonderful family day picking apples at Perry Lowe Orchards in Moravian Falls. Perfect weather, so many apple varieties, lots of stuff to entertain kids, etc.

Not only are they affordable, but it's set up as a great family oriented experience. We saw so many different varieties of families from friends & couples, to multi-generational families like ours. The young people who work here were patient and kind to all. The store by the orchard was spotless with two restrooms inside and two port-a-potties outside.

Besides picking apples, they had a slide and play area for kids ($5 wristband, unlimited), a little trolley painted like bumblebees, and an apple cannon.

The store had packaged mixes, local honey, and different varieties of cider. Their freshly made apple cider donuts and apple fritters were delicious but the warm apple cider (not pictured) warmed my soul and body.

Definitely on the calendar for all of us to return next year!

I have lived in the mountains of North Carolina my entire life, but this weekend was the very first time we went apple picking and we had a wonderful time! Perry Lowe Orchards made the apple-picking experience truly delightful for our entire family. There was hot apple cider, apple cider slushies, apple cinnamon donuts, and more. There were also fun activities for the kids. There were a variety of apples to pick from, but our favorites were the Pink Ladies and the Suncrisps. I highly suggest this fun fall activity. I wish we had taken advantage of it long before now.

A sixth generation family-owned Apple Orchard that offers a delightful “you-pick” experience. The orchard’s rich history is evident in the well-maintained trees and charming surroundings. The variety of apple options are impressive, providing a fun and interactive experience for visitors of all ages. The friendly staff and the picturesque setting make it a perfect outing for families or friends looking to enjoy nature and pick their own fresh, delicious apples. Highly recommended for a wholesome and enjoyable day out!

We went there for apple picking, and the actual orchard is about a mile from the address in Google. Once you are there, you can grab a bag to fill up with picked apples, and then a trailer ride takes you to orchards. Loved the apples!! There were 4 types to pick on that day. And we loved them all, but Golden Delicious was the best.
The people at the counter were friendly and smiling, the restrooms were clean! Did I already say the apples were great?

This place was perfect for adults or small children who don’t want a huge orchard or big crowds. If you have older kids and want a ton of activities you may be better off elsewhere.

Petty Lowe was organized and provided ab enjoyable experience. We bought a large bag of apples, a gallon of cider, and a few baked goods.

We made an appointment online and it was a seamless process to sign in. The apples tasted good and there was plenty of variety when we went. Having their website recently updated with current options was helpful.

The only thing I would add is one more apple washing station (to taste the apples grown closer to the parking area).

This is a great local orchard. They sell fresh fruit and locally produced items. We have been going there and getting apples for years. I highly recommend this store.

Great place, many varieties of apples and they are very good and taste like apples should. My favorite is Suncrisp. Everything is well labeled regarding how they taste and can be used. The stand is clean and everyone there is helpful if you have a question. Have patience when you go as there may be a line at the checkout, but it moves quickly. You can also buy bulk candy, dried beans and that wonder apple cider slushy (really good), different flavors!!!
Don't forget your jug of apple cider. They sell a few varieties.

Great place to spend time with kids. $2 person is the admission fee for apple picking you have to pay $8 for small bag & $15 for large bag and it’s totally worth.
They sell some donuts 🍩 cider and apple slushy. I have tried the donuts and it was amazing, the people and staff are very friendly. Loved their pink lady apple 🍎

Great place for Carolina self-pick apple picking. If you're not up to doing the picking yourself, stop by the store. Super delicious apples, and kid's activities. Great place for family outings.

We drive over 3 hours round trip to get their apple cider. We didn't buy enough last month so we're headed back up again this weekend. We love it!

Let me just start out by saying they are some of the nicest people I've ever met. We've been about 5 times now and they are always super friendly. I am absolutely addicted to their cider slushes. They're all amazing but I think my favorite would be either the pink lady or the blackberry apple. If you haven't tried them, you have got to. The apple fritters are great too. We haven't been to their orchard yet, but that's coming soon.

Very friendly staff and reasonably priced products. The Apple flavored slushy are delicious and there are cute picture areas for kids and adults.

What a wonderful experience! Our family had such a spectacular time! Picking apples at Perry Lowe Orchards will be a family tradition of ours for many years to come. We had a great time picking apples, riding on the bee train, and enjoying the apple slushies, fritters, and doughnuts. The prices were reasonable. Everyone we met at the orchard was extremely welcoming and helpful. This orchard gave me all the warm and fuzzy feels ❤. So happy to have come across this gem!

Nice place to buy apples. They have a good selection of apples, jams, and other fruit. Bought the golden delecious and they have an excellent flavor. Nice and fresh.

Very cute & well stocked farm store. This is not the actual orchard. The apple cider slushies are really amazing & refreshing.

A well organized apple orchard with lots of variety of apples to pick. Apple code Doughnuts are good. Family friendly place.

Really enjoyed my time at Perry Lowe. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The U Picking was a lot of fun and a great value for money. Make sure you make a reservation because it is required. The stores had lot a diverse selection of apple products jams, ciders, slushies, donuts, crisps, etc. And for those that have kids, they have a play area and an apple cannon to keep them entertained. We even saw a tractor towing some small carts for children to ride in which was neat. Will be coming back here in the future.

Great apples and the sweet potatoes are even better!!!! Love to shop at Perry Lowe’s.
