Optim Orthopedics - Vidalia

I went into the office tense. Not even sure what questions to ask. The greeting that Dr. Lawhorne gave when he entered the room immediately began to change my mood. He is very personable and communicates with you in down to earth language so that you understand what he is saying and it calms your fears. He doesn't just say 'this is what you have to do" he explains and gives options and makes sure you understand before he asks you how you want to proceed.
I left the office feeling confident that I had made the right choice about how to proceed with my medical care.

Dr. Lawhorn was very informative at my appointment. He gave me options that hopefully will be the answer to my prayers. He was very concise about the procedure needed, how he would do it, and what I could expect following surgery. He gave me the usual cautions meaning there is always a chance for something to not work as planned, but chances are very slim. I have confidence in him because he does these types of surgery all the time. My husband has used him for lumbar surgery and came through it extremely well. Several people that referred him to me were also very pleased with his skill and abilities regarding spinal surgery. He makes me much more at ease with the upcoming procedure.

Was referred for lower back pain. Sat and talked with Terry at length and he explained possible cause and treatment possibilities. He prescribed a couple of meds he thought might ease the problem or, possibly, would be enough to take care of the problem. He set up a visit to PT as a large part of initial treatment. He appeared very knowledgeable of the issue and its treatment. He was friendly and comfortable to be around. Well worth thevisit

My experience was very positive. All of the staff made me feel comfortable. Dr Lawhorne was very patient with me and answered all my questions. He explained our plan of treatment so that I could understand it. I would definitely recommend him.

All employees were very nice and helpful in any and everything at their office.

Dr Christy and his whole team; PA, Nurses, Clerical and etc, have been wonderful to me. I am so happy and blessed to have found him to do my knee replacement. If I have to have another knee or possible hip replacement, I will be going back for him to do it. Big Thanks to them!!!

Dr. Lawhorne and his staff are professional , friendly and he is a brilliant physician. I appreciate them agreeing to see me as their patient.

I'm always made to feel welcomed and staff is very helpful and friendly, so is Terry he is so nice and helps me to understand everything. I would highly recommend him and Dr. Lawhorne to anyone.

Always a great experience when visited this office. All the staff is friendly and very helpful. Terry is always very helpful to find out what the problem is and what needs to be done. When the prognosis is done he will expedite everything to get to the end means.
Would highly recommend Terry his office staff to help if you have any problems.
