Food taste fresh. Plenty of chicken on their wings. Fried rice was good especially with their red pepper chilli oil. Definitely coming back to try a few other things.

By far one of the most respectful and well organized Chinese food restaurants in dumfries Virginia. The kitchen, lobby, and staff is clean and professional. They have an excellent menu AND serve Bobba tea. If you aren’t eating from this restaurant, you’re missing out!!

The food here is really good! I took a chance after being disappointed from other Chinese restaurants near by, but this one was the best in my opinion. My mom is from Thailand, and makes me homemade braised porkbelly with eggs all the time. I ordered the same dish from this restraint, and the taste was almost the same. Everything else i ordered was delicious. The chicken and broccoli was really good! The meat and broccoli tasted fresh. My two young kids loved the food as well. I can't wait to try more items from the menu.

I may be bias here because of the Lego decor, but OMG love this place!!! Food is good portion, made fast, price is fair (for NOVA), and selection is pretty decent. Somehow they made a generic Chinese food place unique, and that counts for something. Oh! And they have boba tea! 😃😃

The food was absolutely delicious. I would rate the tofu here as in the top 3 best places I've ever had tofu. Spring rolls were crispy and delicious. Rice was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be eating here again. They also do local delivery.

We live close and have bee trying to find a GOOD Chinese take out. I can say what we got was awesome. Singapore Noodles are fantastic. Pork Eggrolls and the best hot and sour soup I have in the area. Give them a try. Ill definitely be back to try the egg foo young!

Owners are the best and I never have any complaints! This is definitely my go to place! All of the Lego things at the front are a huge plus because my boys and I love them! Food is always amazing and I put in for the owner to start soup dumplings and she considered and I’m literally ordering them tonight! They’re very accommodating they listen to everything you say! I will definitely still be here as much as I do LOL

We so love the food here! Besides the convenience of ordering because it is very close to our bakery, the food is also very good!!! I am very picky with Lo Mein but when I ordered their Shrimp Lo Mein, it is sooooo good! Their Chicken Brocolli is so good too!!! Highly recommended! Thank you Happy Eatery!

Absolutely love this restaurant! Food is consistently good and always friendly service. High quality ingredients and proteins. LOVE the egg drop soup! Best for takeout as the eat in space is limited and parking spaces in the lot are tiny.

I was in the area and decided to stop by and it was a pleasant experience. I come from a Chinese restaurant background. My parents used to run one so I kind of know what to look for when I go to these mom and pop shops. First things first, I'm not looking for a 5 course Omakase fine dining experience when I dine at these restaurants. What I really look for is price and how comforting the food is, which this place definitely did well on. It's the kind of food that just makes you feel good when eating it like when you've had a rough day at work and need that magic to turn your day around. The two items I got were the sesame beef and bourbon chicken. Sesame beef was tender and had good flavor, it wasn't as crispy when I got it but that's expected since I did take out and not dine in. The bourbon chicken was interesting, most of these places when they say "bourbon" they don't actually put bourbon in there, or even if they do it's like cheap bourbon and you can instantly tell. But here the alcoholic flavor complemented the chicken well and I enjoyed it. If I didn't live so far away this would be my new take out Chinese spot, however, if I'm ever in the area I would for sure stop by again.

I order from here weekly! This is definitely one of the best spots in Northern VA. Great customer service, amazing food, and clean environment. Jenny is always so welcoming and shows that she cares about her customers. Always looking forward to seeing her! Thanks for everything, Jenny!

Happy Eatery is the perfect name for these place! When I walked in I was automatically greeted by the owner with such a pleasant greeting. The place is super clean, and food is delicious!! Coming from a New Yorker, this Chinese restaurant is the bomb!!!

I love the interior it’s amazing seeing the inside when I walk in. The food is really good! They even serve bubble tea! No other spots do that! Definitely recommend and definitely going back.

I have been eating at this place since I was a young girl moved and came back and it’s still just as good!! Best in town and I always make my way here at least once a week when I get off the road!!! Thank you for always providing the best service and maintaining that authentic experience!!!

So, heres the deal. Sometimes you read Google reviews before you experience a spot and you ask yourself what drugs those people were on when they gave glowing reviews. Not so with this place. I agree with the positive reviews. Everyone that praises Jenny for her personable nature and attention to detail is being honest. Im ALWAYS greeted by my name when I walk in or call. She also remembers what you usually order and makes suggestions or even asks for critiques on how she can make things better if need be. Thanks for caring. As far as the food, it's among the best of its kind (Chinese carryout) in the area. The internet photos, unlike some other spots, accurately represents the food there. At no point, have we felt like we were hit with surprises. I encourage all of the locals to give this spot a shot if you have not yet. I cant say that there has been anything on the menu that we didnt like so far.

Jenny and Julio will make you feel at home. Not only are they cheerful, they are like Cheers....they remember your name and remember your orders, even the most difficult vegan gymnastics we put them through and experiment with. Our food is always delicious and portions are hefty.

Go see them if you are passing through town. And go often if you are from in town.

Had a great experience every time we’ve been here so far! The owner is very friendly. The restaurant is clean and the food has always been great. Theres a lot of great options on the menu but the bourbon chicken is our favorite. Even the steamed chicken and veggies is full of flavor! Definitely the best in the local area!

This restaurant is the most amazing Chinese cuisine that I’ve ever tried. The owner and the workers are very generous. They’re always helpful whenever. I’m confused on what to get your fried chicken wings are the best check them out.!
