I thoroughly enjoyed working with the staff at Fulton Books to publish my book. Everyone was super friendly and took the time to obtain answers to my questions and give me the attention I needed to make great decisions about my book. I was especially pleased with Rachel Nicely. She was always so upbeat and positive about my progress, and she helped me to develop a more winning approach too. I also appreciated the patience she and other staff showed me. I was never pressured to wrap things up. I was encouraged to take my time and keep working on my text until I had it as I wanted it to read. I had a very rewarding experience with Fulton Books!

I wasn’t 100% certain that I wanted to publish my story, but I decided to look into the process. I spoke to a few different publishing houses. Fulton caught my attention because they cater to new authors. The people I spoke to are all very friendly and helpful. Once things got moving, Alyssa made sure I knew exactly what I needed to do and she kept me informed on what was going on, including checking in between stages to make sure I knew I wasn’t forgotten. She made the whole process seem easy. My book, Winter Thaw, is now out and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I can’t wait to do it again with part two. Thanks Alyssa!

This was my first attempt at writing a children's book. Alyssa M. Was my assistant publisher. I could not have asked for a better person to handle my account. She was very thoughtful, knowledgeable and in general a very professional young lady. She definitely made this whole adventure exciting. I truly felt that I had my own personal cheerleader.

Writing a book comes with the fear of the unknown can be a nerve-racking process. Fulton Books makes the process very efficient and easy. I am very happy with the process from beginning to now. I had a great publishing team, Brittany who answered all my initial questions before signing with Fulton Books. Then Liz Bosley, who was my publishing assistant was wonderful and answered all of my questions in a professional and timely manner. There were many times I was nervous and confused on a particular step in the process, but Liz was always there too help. I highly recommend Fulton Books to anyone looking to publish a book!

Got my book Scandal Brokers published with Fulton Books and I enjoyed the process. Editing and suggestions helped and they smoothly got the project through to publishing. Editor and Publishing assistant were responsive with emails/calls. My only suggestion to Fulton Books is to speed up the Cover Art design timelines a bit. Since everything else proceeded quickly, I believe must be the publishing industry bottleneck when it comes to Cover art design. In summary: Excellent

My publishing experience with Fulton books has truly been one of excitement and amazement. In my opinion, when an author begins the process of creating a book, they understand very little of the actual process from pen-on-paper (or on screen) to sale. I think most of us think that we'll just finish the manuscript, tidy it up a bit, send it to Amazon and B & N and boom, we've sold a million copies. Were it to be that simple.

In my case, I had already self-published my book so, I knew the arduous nature of the editing, layout, cover creation, and printing process however, where I failed was in not understanding the complexity of the elements of the process that actually allow an author to reach their audience effectively: marketing and sales. Although I have only just begun this part of the process, I can truly say that April, Alyssa, and all of the other creative people on the Fulton team have made this journey a pleasure. Their expertise, patience, and yes, hand-holding, have allowed me to clearly visualize how one travels from the draft to the sale.

For the prospective authors out there, here's my advice: don't try to do it alone. Yes, our industry has made great progress with self-publishing and yes, it is far easier today to create a book from a manuscript but the essence of bringing a book to market isn't simply the writing or even the marketing; it is rather the integration of the myriad of tasks that must be performed in order to ensure the success of the work and it is here that the team at Fulton shines. From editing (in my opinion, one of the most critical elements), to marketing, the team at Fulton clearly understands the nature of the business and has assented a team of professionals to guide their authors along the path to success.

Right from the start, Fulton Books made the publication of my book, The House on Hawthorn Court, an easy and enjoyable experience. The editorial staff carefully edited my manuscript and made noteworthy recommendations about grammar and punctuation.
Megan Crowl, the publication assistant who acted as me liaison, i a consummate professional, quickly responding to any email directed to her. She kept my up to date with the various phases of the publication process and thoroughly answered any questions that I might have.
