Route 11 Diner

We were passing through and wanted to give a lock place a shot. We were BLOWN AWAY. Fantastic service, food and feeling. If we are ever back in the area, we will surely swing by again.

Came in 2 minutes to close. Welcomed warmly. Service the sweetest ladies not sure who was actual waitress. Very sweet and attentive. Food quick hot very good even at close. Never rushed or hurried.

Great diner food!! Cheap. Breakfast til 11am. I enjoyed my egg sandwich on Texas toast. Pancakes were really big.

Hamburger steak is awesome! I tried a club samwich with hand cut fries and was horrible meal. Soggy limp fries and way too much Mayonaise on club... Worst fries I ever had. I'll stick with hamburger steak. Great!!!

Cute small restaurant but friendly service with home cooked food. Smothered chicken and hot turkey were delicious. Good value for price.

Our first time visiting and we loved it. Small town feel just like our local diner at home. I had the shrimp and it was very good, wife had the catfish and she loved it. Salads were fresh. Our waitress Shannon was on top of her game. If we needed anything she already had it coming. She did a Great job. Very nice lady. We will definitely be back again.

It’s easy to drive up and down Route 11 for years and not notice a great diner almost hidden off the road. Most would probably think it’s an extension of the Econolodge. Who knows, maybe it is. But it doesn’t really matter. The Route 11 Diner is staffed by pleasant folks who efficiently take your order and expedite your meal. Quick with the coffee refill and to check up on things. Coffee: great. French Toast: delightful. Omelet: perfect. Sausage patty: handmade and quite tasty. Home fries: yum. Five stars. Just wish we found it earlier.

Ok if you know me than you know I don’t eat Fast food!! I have always said if a place would cook and serve more homemade food it could make a killing around here. I have found the place😊❤ This dinner makes some really great food. Congratulations to Robbin and her daughter sorry I don’t remember her name. They have created a great country dinner. Mrs Shanon has been our waitress many times and she is great wonderful personality very attentive always checks on our table. The food is wonderful and our family has tried almost the whole menu lol😊 oh just a few things like their chicken strips WOW REAL chicken that they cut fry in special seasoning to just the right tenderness not real crispy just perfect! And the cheese burgers are great size and out of this world. Their breakfast foods are amazing, steak and eggs is great nice steak for the size and price tender. The sausage and cop beef gravy is just like grandma homemade.😊 and for heavens sake don’t miss out on their bake Mac and cheese or twice bake potato casserole (WOW) amazing! And I have not gotten to the deserts yet so many and so good. I will say it’s all together a great meal for the price. Our family is four people and we can get a good home cooked meal with drinks and tip for around $50 and our hard earned money is well spent here. We appreciate you all and wish only the best for your business. I know times have been hard so let’s all try and help out this young new business lady and support and prayers for a prosperous growing business for many years to come. 😊🙏🏻❤

Hot open roast beef and breaded shrimp

Been working here for the past 3 weeks and decided to come here to eat. Food was delicious and our waitress was very courteous. Local restaurants are the best to eat at. Wish I would come by sooner.

What a great little gem! Friendly, fast service. The food was delicious! I had the hamburger steak and mashed potato with green beans and it was the best I've had. That gravy was sinfully good! My daughter loved her burger and the crinkle fries. Was worth the drive from Luray. Had a great conversation with another diner. Seemed everyone was really friendly here.

We've been going here for years and every time has been a great experience. The staff is friendly and efficient and the food is always excellent.

They took great care of us with the dog in tow outside after a long two days of hiking. Home Cooked Breakfast was great, service was wonderful. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely would eat there again!

Very good food and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and quick at getting us drinks. It is seat yourself. It's not very fast but the food is all made from scratch and made when you order. No food is frozen and you can tell at the first bite. Will definitely be going back.

Delicious. Homemade. Comforting. The food was delicious, the service was good, and the locals were out enjoying it too.

I had the country fried steak, with mashed potatoes, and cornbread - I cant wait to go back and have it again!
