Wolf Gap Vineyard and Winery

Wolf Gap Winery was quite the gem! It was tucked away but also easy to find. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a flight of red wines followed by a glass while taking a nice stroll on their rocky path. The pavilion was beautiful, I wish we had more time to enjoy the live music. They’re also dog friendly for the fur families. They had great views of the mountains. The staff was great :)

Literally can't say enough great things about this wonderful place! Absolutely stunning views and atmosphere, by far the best wine I've ever tasted on the East Coast. Service was prompt, polite, friendly, just all around amazing. If weather permitting GO TO THE PAVILLION! We went back a 2nd time in 2 days because it was so amazing, must haves: Lobo Loco, Cab Sav, Charddonay

My friends and I are visiting town, and decided to try this place out. We had their wine tasting, and let me tell you.. we had such a great experience. Their ambiance, service, and wines were exceptional. The view is absolutely beautiful, and all of the wines were unique and tasted great, some of which were reserve wines. The space is an intimate setting. To add, we are all quite diverse and from NY, and the owner made us feel very welcome. He was knowledgeable in all the wines, and provided a great backstory. The wine tasting experience left us with nothing but a positive experience.

Wolf Gap Winery has amazing fields and fabulous landscape available for guests to walk along. The wines are of exceptional quality and the staff is very welcoming. Very laid back winery. Pet friendly. Sunset here is fantastic. Very relaxing patio balcony areas with great views of the farmland.

Very nice winery with beautiful views and delicious wine. They just built a new pavilion that they have live music in. Taylor LaFever had a great show.

Great winery with a spectacular view. We went on a Sunday, and it wasn't very busy, which meant we got exceptional personal service. We had 2 flights of wine and also tried the blueberry wine. We brought home 4 bottles!

Did a tasting and talked with the owner for a little bit before taking a glass and a cheese plate out onto the patio to enjoy the sunshine. I enjoyed their semi -sweet wines a lot. Lovely place!

Janel and her staff are incredible! We had a bachelorette wine tasting and lunch and they were incredible! Exceptional service and personal touches. The blueberry wine is AMAZING and so unique. 10/10 recommend this winery!

Best winery around! My daughter and I visited many other wineries and this was by far our favorite! Janel and JC, the owners, were friendly, fun and truly made our experience enjoyable. My daughter & I have very different palates when it comes to wine, but we both found multiple wines that we loved and purchased. We will definitely back! Don't miss out!

We went on a quiet weekend and were able to taste all the wines with the owner. He was fun to chat with. That paired with the interesting wines & beautiful views, made it by far the most enjoyable winery of the four we visited.

The owners here are just phenomenal. We were visiting from out of town and this vineyard bypassed all of the larger ones we visited that had very subpar customer service. Their tasty wines and beautiful views were just an added enjoyment! 10/10! These two truly know how to run a hospitable business to keep customers coming back.

We had a party of 9 people for a birthday and JC was super kind and personable! Made our experience amazing. Delicious wine and beautiful property.

Stopped in just an hour or two before close on Sunday. Sat out back with my wife and we enjoyed a tasting. It's a small place, but truly lovely. The views from upstairs are stunning and the property exudes care. And these folks know how to make quality wine, it seems.
The Viognier/Traminette is one of the best--if not THE best--Virgina white wines that I've tasted. I'd love to have some wine-making lessons. The Cab Franc is also lovely. As Sarah says, "No head shake." Highly recommend.

This was absolutely our favorite part of our trip to shenendoah. This vineyard & winery was intimate and sincerely beautiful. If we had more time here I would come back everyday. The owners are knowledge and hospitable and their dog Gracie is an added bonus. Please make this winery a stop on your list!

Had a great time here with the family while on vacation. Each wine was really unique and it even opened me up to styles of wine I don't typically like. The view was great too. You gotta try this place.

An incredible find; the perfect little gem with one breathtaking view. The Wines are outstanding and the Wine Maker/Owner is kind, intelligent, and very knowledgeable on wines. Took us on a private tour to see his operation on the grounds. We go every time we are in the Valley. One intimate, laid back winery you want to add to your list.
