Sunset slush of Emerald Isle & Ice Cream

In addition to the slushies, they have lots of unique homemade (I believe) ice cream flavors. The coconut ice cream was not very coconuty, but the amaretto cherry was so good, and the dark chocolate mudslide one was delicious too. They are also right by the pier, so you can go out to the beach or pier to enjoy your ice cream.

We ordered some of these with the specialty koozy. (Ofc had to have the koozy who doesn’t love a souvenir!?) So yummy. The Zombie flavor was our favorite. That bit of creamsicle in it was really so good and made me think of my childhood. Funny how that works:) can’t wait to visit again with the family.

Something for everyone! Very efficient and kind staff members. Our first time having Ashby’s ice cream and we will definitely be back for more.

Very friendly staff! The food has a little for everyone. The prices are reasonable. My kids really loved the wide variety of Italian Ices. The establishment was incredibly clean. What’s not to love? Great experience!!!

I had the medium grape 🍇 slushy. It was wonderful. They have a variety of flavors. Great location. My husband had the cherry 🍒 flavor. A nice treat to eat at the Bogue Inlet Pier.

We are visiting from out of town with our two kids, we have never been to Emerald. We stayed right behind Sunset Slush, we visited TWICE in one day. They even offered to serve us after they closed, and I am so glad they did because we are headed back home in the morning!

Been here twice now once with my family and my son then again with a friend who didn't even know it existed and turned her onto gilotto. And both times it was very good I enjoy all the flavors they have to offer and they also have a sit down area inside so u can cool off from the heat.

This place is awesome!! The Italian Ice is the real Italian Ice. Sooo good! Very very clean place and super nice and friendly staff. The owners are great people. If anyone gives this place a bad review something is definitely wrong with you!!! Would definitely recommend to everyone!!!

Recently found this gem on a trip to EI and I’ll definitely back! Service can be a bit slow when they get crowded, but the staff is helpful and friendly and the Italian ice is divine.

I got an Italian Ice . Super pina colada. It was really good and refreshing . I'm dairy free so to be able to get every flavor dairy free was nice . Will be back 🖒🖒

This is the place to go for a refreshing, delicious and relaxing summer treat. The ice cream is extremely smooth and delicious. Plan to return for another interesting flavor.
