Oak Island Par 3 Golf Course

Love playing here! The greens are in really good shape - you can tell they have been working hard to improve the whole course. Great place to work on your short game & very affordable!

Pretty nice par-3 course, reasonably well maintained. It’s 18 holes rather than the usual 9 x2. Winds through housing development yet easy to walk, even carry bags which we did. Greens roll well but fairly slow. They have a few sandy depressions but not too disruptive. $20 to walk 18 for non-resident. Took just under 2 hours for twosome with no waiting

We had not been out on the course in a few years, but decided to head back out today. WOW, we were very impressed.

Tee boxes were great shape. They are long and look to be rotated well given that it's nothing but iron play. And all of the divots from the day were already filled in. Some greens were under maintenance, but the rest were in great shape. We walked and were in and out in less than two hours playing all 18, it was such a nice break from a "traditional day" of golf.

This is the best I have ever seen the course and kudos to the folks managing it. I am kicking myself for not coming back sooner.

A good short game practice course. The greens and tee box much improved this year. A fun course for family. Nice people work at course and they are proud how things have picked up. Excellent trainer too. John knows his stuff

Great day for young and old! Took my 9 year old friends kid. He loved it, got to run around a lot. And he did really well! Wore himself out!

I played last week with my Dad and son who is 9. It was a fun course. Greens were a tad slow and the Tee boxes could use a little TLC. I will say they were mowing the day we played and the course had seen a lot of water. Great for practice on your short game. The staff was great. $20 bucks is a little higher than I would like to pay on a Par 3, however I would go back again.

It is exactly what I expected. A fun short course to work on my short game. A couple of greens need some work, but otherwise in pretty good shape. Jeanette in the clubhouse was very pleasant and informative.

This is probably the most fun part 3 I have ever played. It's in good shape and the staff is very nice and helpful. 2 temporary greens today but the real ones are probably about ready for play. We will definately try to go back before our vacation is over. Very walkable course and only a few clubs needed. If you like golf you need to try this place.

This is a great little course. For the person that said it was short, have they ever played a par 3 course before? Of course it's short. It is the perfect course to work on your short game. It is a nice layout and provides challenges for sure. The sand traps could actually use more sand, but other than that, it's a good course. I play it regularly and will continue to do so.

Awesome course to play, cant wait to play again. Some greens were a little rough in places but didnt bother me much. $20 seems about right, as you dont see alot of par 3 courses around. Nice to see the alligator on 18 as well. I visit the area for work often so will definitely be throwing the wedges and putter in the truck next time I'm around.

For the price this golf course is hard to beat. My sons and I had a great time and the staff could not have been nicer. would highly recommend this par 3 golf course for Any beginner and youth player.

The layout is just ok, with the exception of the first few holes and the last few wich are really nice. The greens were in great shape, the rough was really thick, and the fairways were cut pretty tight. I will definitely be going back.

Great course! Staff were friendly, greens were not in best of shape but overall very pretty course and lots of fun at a good price.

One of my favorite courses in the US! I play every year when I'm down visiting family and it's a challenging but really fun 2 - 3 hours with my husband and FIL hitting the ball around.

Excellent place to get in some quality golf in a short amount of time. The course is in great shape. OI Parks and Recreation are doing a fantastic job!

Great place to play 18 hole par 3 :) grounds have improved greatly this last year.

This is a pleasant par 3 course which is challenging enough for my level of play. Course maintenance is good and the cost of an annual membership is great!

It is the best par 3 that I've played in either North or South Carolina.
Fairways and greens are in wonderful condition. Reasonable prices and helpful staff.

Great course for a short game for all ages and abilities. Awesome for families with kids interested in playing golf. Rentals available.

This golf course is a great place for old men like myself to play and hone ones short gamr. The people are great here.
