From out of town and stopped by to check the place out. Amazing selection of fishing EVERYTHING, and the staff and owner was so nice and sweet! We will def be back with their helpfulness and great prices!

A local, family run small business gem. Fair pricing and friendly service. The shop is absolutely packed from floor to literally the ceiling. Felt like a kid in a candy store.

This tackle shop is full from floor to ceiling with tackle!! no joke. Not full of stuff to make you look like you are into fishing. Don’t get me wrong they do have nice things to wear to look cool fishing in. And you ask them how to and most importantly about where to go. And more than likely someone in the shop will tell you all you need to know. If they don’t they will find out. From the backwater to as far as your boat can take you. You’ll find the right gear for our waters. And whatever you’re fishing for.

Awesome local shop, However I asked about live shrimp and she said her love well aerator pump was down so they didn't have any as of last week and didn't know when they would be able to put new pump in so just a heads up to anyone wondering. Yes normally they have live shrimp but as of late you better look elsewhere until you hear otherwise. Besides that, they have a large selection of tackle and rods and reels, nill as far as fly fishing goes, but so be it. Also they don't sell fishing licences and will refer you to buy online. Just keep in mind one thing they failed to tell me was that online they charge a premium for the transaction as opposed to Walmart where it would have only been 16 bucks. Will be back for sure! Great service and great bait and tackle store. We love it we stop every time we go fishing. My son loves it better than a kid in a candy store. All your fishing gear and then some.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have lots of stuff in here and prices were good. It is cramped in the store but the women were more than glad to help us find what we needed. Right before the bridge before you get to the beach, easy to miss but definitely worth stopping at.

I have never seen a small store packed with so much fishing equipment, floor to ceiling. If they don't have it you definitely don't need it. Prices seem reasonable. Happy to support local businesses instead of WallyMart.

Dutchman Creek is an awesome place. They are always very friendly and super helpful and their prices are very competitive. It is always my first stop when I get to Southport or Oak Island and we go by several times just to be going while we are there. It truly is a great bait and tackle shop! I highly recommend checking them out.

The store that always has what I need and some good fishing reports. Owners and staff are very courteous. Reasonable prices on everything and occasionally great deals that can't be beat. Love going there even though I somehow always end up buying more than I came in for!

I needed a new reel and some tackle. This shop was highly rated, so I tried it. I explained what I needed and the staff immediately identified a solution, a solid reel that was on sale 20% off! Fantastic customer support! I know why it has such a great reputation.

They were great!! I have 2 recently adopted girls. Who have never been to the beach or even fishing. And im the best fisherman either. I explained all that. And they were glad to help make it a great time. Hooking me up with the right gear to fish off the Peer with. I definitely will be back.

Stopped in the other day to pick up some rod holders. They had the aluminum ones I was looking for, so I bought three of them. Needed some Fishbites, and although they had some, just didn't have what I was looking for. Still a really nice tackle shop. Will definitely return.
