The people at Northstar Gun Works are professional and very friendly. They have patiently and respectfully answered all of my questions and have found solutions to all of my firearm needs. Recently, Mitch replaced the barrel on my CZ527 .17cal. he explained the process and the timetable. Everything was spot on. They even took care of a few dings in the butt. Break-in for the new barrel has been sub-MOA. I am very satisfied and I trust this company. I’m planning a new build with Mitch within the next few months.

I had a new barrel put on my PRS rifle and chambered it in 6 Dasher. Mitch was great getting all the details together. The finish product is awesome. My first groups while breaking in and tuning were under 1/4 inch. Thanks for the awesome work, I will be returning again.

I was having an issue with a remington 700 vtr chambered in .223 and the internal magazine. The gun is supposed to hold 4 rounds in the magazine and would only hold 2 before spitting them all out or double feeding. I brought my gun to a different shop previous to this one and they told me that I needed to buy a new chassis that uses aics mags. I came here for a second opinion and Mitch, the gunsmith, not only fixed it, but fixed it same night without new parts because a piece of stamped steel was bent funny and only needed to be adjusted. Just earned a lifetime customer!

I purchased a used Glock 43x MOS on Gunbroker, and when I took it home, it did not function properly. I took the Glock to Northstar, and they fixed it the same day. The staff explained the problems with my firearm and how they resolved them. The team at Northstar was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Although this was my first time at Northstar, it will not be the last time I use Northstar for gunsmithing services. Northstar is the place to go if you want fast, friendly, reasonably priced service. Thanks again!

If you need gunsmith services look no further than Mitch at Northstar Gun Works LLC - he fixed my broken Walther P-99 quickly and for far less than I thought it would cost. It's also worth mentioning that over the past few years three other gunsmiths told me the handgun was broken beyond repair and my best option was to junk it and buy a replacement.

These guys are the best shop in the area for gunsmithing, and provide the highest level of professionalism when purchasing a firearm. Above and beyond service. This place is welcoming and very helpful. As someone looking for their first firearm, this place took more time to show me the guns, how to handle them, how to take them apart.
In today's market if you find something you like and don't buy it right away, by the time you turn around it's sold. I decided to proceed with a guy I knew nothing about. During the background check I backed out and wanted to do some research on the gun first. I returned a week later to find out that the owner had set it aside for me even though I didn't even put down a deposit on it. This was awesome, I cannot express how much I appreciated this, I thought it would be sold by now and I'd have to start my search all over again. But thanks to NorthStar I'm now a proud gun owner.
I've also read the reviews on here. There are a lot of them claiming price gouging. Yeah, the price was higher then MSRP online, but it's not that bad. It's simple economics right now, supply and demand.

I have bought multiple firearms from this store. This location offers honest insight, and great prices for firearms. The owner is also very knowledgeable, and does a great job to narrow in on what you're looking for. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a firearm!

This place is great! They have a team that all know their stuff. Bryan is the best gunsmith I’ve ever met. Tom teaches a great Home Defense & Concealed Carry course. And they’re the only place in town who’s had ammo through the last year.

Purchased my Walther PDP from Steve and customer service was phenomenal. Was very patient through the whole process. Would definitely recommend them! Most definitely looking forward to more purchases in the future.
