Steelbound Dunkirk

Great atmosphere and dinner! If you’re looking for high quality food and drinks, this is the place to go. The starboard tea and specialty margaritas were made perfectly. We both ordered the butter chicken which is al a carte and expensive, but well worth it! If you have room for anything else after dinner, they have a huge bar with outdoor seating viewing the stunning lake erie!

Stopped here as part of our 2023 WNY Beer Trail pass. We have been to the ellicottville location before and wanted to check this one out this time. Other than the rain, it was awesome. Service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious as always, beers were cold. We love this brewery and will be back soon.

Food was very delicious. Server was very kind and patient, answered all of my questions in good detail. Sat outside and it was amazing. Best food I’ve had in the area. 10/10 recommend! The manager Jason is phenomenal and made us feel right at home.

Was not expecting such incredible food at my hotel, the curries are all killer, the garlic naan is proper, the samosas are bar none the best ive ever had, the steak was .perfect. the indian chili garlic chicken wings, the flourless chocolate cake, the creme brulee cheesecake. sheesh these chefs can chef. silver creeks best, s/o to the staff

Can’t believe there is a place this nice right in Dunkirk !! Beautiful dining room & patio, food was amazing with huge portions, drinks were good and strong and the staff was all very friendly !! :)

This is a nice place for food and drinks. They have their own brewery here and a wide selection of options.

The Indian food is authentic and delicious. They have other food choices as well.

We drove 2 hours to meet family for dinner and this was worth the drive. There were 11 of us and our waitress was awesome, cheerful, attentive and fun. Both Indian dishes and American dishes were great. Nice patio overlooking the lake. The only downside was the handicap stall in the ladies room was out of order which made it extremely hard for my mom with her walker to use the restroom.

The Garlic Naan was so good, and the fish fry, oh my! It was huge and so flakey!

This was our first time at Steelbound, and it was a very pleasurable experience. We were very happy with their pricing and generous portions of the beef on week. While we did not sample their home brews, we have heard noting but good reviews from friends.

Spent a nice evening with my girlfriend at this tucked away restaurant, but it's hiding more than meets the eye! The service was great with kind staff, and orders that came within 10-15 minutes, nothing out of the ordinary for a Saturday evening. Our drinks were dangerous, sneaky little margarita flights that were mixed perfectly and my Starboard Tea (bourbon and peach schnapps w/ sweet tea) also hit smoothly! The food was amazing, and as an NYC native I'm happy to enjoy the authentic Indian cuisine that reminds me of home! The butter chicken was seasoned well and spicy, but paired with the basmati rice, you're truly in for a treat! Overall a nice spot to stop in for a fresh palette of food choices in Fredonia!

Excellent experience with their Indian menu 3 times in a row! My whole family keeps going back. Dunkirk needs this place, give it a try and help keep it open!

Great food and service until tip was added to our bill despite already left on table.
When called to complain was told no manager available and don’t know when he is in. The woman who answered phone was VERY rude and when I asked for her name she hung up on me. Because of this probably won’t be back. Buyer beware!!!

Update: management contact and refund appreciated. This is great customer service and commendable. For this we will likely try again. Thank you

Wasn't sure what to expect since this is Dunkirk and I know there's not a lot of fancier, upscale menus in the area. I was pleasantly surprised with Steelbound. I got the spicy margarita and my wife got the reisling. We started with the cheese curds. I was expecting a small plate of maybe 8 curds. No. This was enough to feed 4 people! They were gooey and delicious! My wife ordered the cajun pasta with shrimp and I got the NY strip, medium. Again, portions were huge! I couldn't finish it all and my wife still has probably more than half leftover. Our server Emily was fantastic! Being born and raised in Dunkirk and being gone for so long, I was not expecting a meal like this in the Dunkirk area except for maybe Fireside Manor back in the day. Bravo, Steelbound! I will definitely be back on my next visit!

Oh my goodness.... first time here with my granpda, mom and stepdad. I got the buttermilk chicken tenders with the sweet Indian garlic sauce. Fantastic. Extremely pleased, will go again. Not enough stars to rate, I rate 20 stars out of 5.

What a lovely place to spend the evening for a fantastic dinner. Our waitress was very friendly, and the entire meal (we tried ALot of different things)was sooo VERY VERY Delicious. We will be back, and I highly recommend going. Oh and the beer selection is pretty great too.

I absolutely loved the India food we had. I had the lamb rogan josh, and while it was a bit spicy for my pallet, the flavor was phenomenal and the lamb so tender it practically melted in my mouth. My husband had a rice dish that was also delicious. Amazing to find such good Indian food in Dunkirk, and definitely the best I’ve ever had. This is my new favorite spot to take my family to dinner and we will definitely be coming back.

We had the Indian food and it was superior!
We would travel the half hour to go more often but it is only available on Sundays and Mondays now.
All their food is delicious but the Indian food was worth the drive. Why not offer both menus?
