Clarion Hotel Conference Center on Lake Erie

Rooms are very comfortable, clean and mattresses were very comfortable. Room view was off the lake and it was relaxing. Complementary breakfast was good way better than most. Restaurant food and service was very good. I will definitely stay again when I’m the area.

I volunteered for the American Red Cross Blood Drive at the Clarion. The hotel was easy to access with plenty of parking. I did not encounter any stairs. The Clarion is in a wonderful location on the Dunkirk harbor. It is a beautiful building with enonormous windows. The building is so clean it sparkles. The banquet room was set up comfortable white chairs and tables dressed with white linen tablecloths. Plush carpets and crystal chandiliers adorn the room. All our needs were anticipated and fulfilled. fI worked for 6 hours in a most pleasant environment. I checked donors into the drive and helped them schedule their next donation. I was delighted that so many donors were eager to return to the hotel for their next donation. The hotel has a restaurant that is open for lunch and evening meals everyday. I only live ten miles away and I want to come and stay here.

We had our wedding there June 10th. Very affordable and the staff did an amazing job. Then Jen went above and beyond to accommodate everything we needed. Even last minute changes. Thanks again Jen. The Bayside room was beautiful and nicely decorated. The pictures of the wedding outside with the lake view came out beautifully. Awesome food for the wedding and a open bar. Couldn’t of asked for anything more. Even had a rehearsal the day before and had a delicious dinner at the steelbound for a large party. Staff always made us feel like VIP. Can’t thank you all enough.

I have never stayed at this place. This is a review of the Clarion Hotel restaurant's Indian menu. Had to share what a delight this place is! The menu is authentic and all made from scratch, desserts included. The food is delicious and a real treat if you love Indian food. The menu is more restricted than when it first opened as this is one of the best kept secrets in Chautauqua County. I need to get the word out! Sorry I didn't do it earlier. When I ate there the other day there was still a choice of 3 desserts and a vegetarian option (entree). There are, quite a few options of meat dishes and a wide variety including specialties from different parts of the country. You can get several types of Naan bread to accompany your meal, several different types of rice, an appetizer and an authentic Indian drink (non alcoholic), 'Lassi'. Take out is available but not as good as having it cooked fresh in the restaurant.

Fair priced and clean hotel. Beds where super comfortable. Shower was hot and high pressure. Breakfast was def above average for a continental.

This hotel is beautiful!! The Front Desk staff is professional, and extremely helpful!! Housekeeping staff does a wonderful job with the rooms and property in general. The breakfast is one of the best being offered! Fresh Eggs, Sausage, Hash Browns, an assortment of Breads, muffins, bagels, juices, yogurts, breakfast sandwiches, and a pancake maker! Im sure im forgetting some stuff they had but its a wonderful spread none the less. Breakfast lady is very nice, and kept everything well stocked. Checkout was nice and easy. There is a restaurant on site, they serve Indian food in addition to their usual American Menu, I had never had indian until now and it did not disappoint!! The Butter Chicken was absolutely delicious! The restaurant staff were all very nice and professional, the food is decently priced too. they could easily charge double what they are for the quality of food they serve. Will for sure return!

My recent 2 night stay for business was outstanding. Amanda, the manager, was very accommodating and Linda at the front desk as well. Beautiful facility... spotless rooms and a great view of Lake Erie. The restaurant was excellent and I took advantage of their Tuesday night wing special (12 wings for $5). I will certainly stay again in the future and highly recommend. Thank you.

I'm really surprised that this hotel has a low rating, I've stayed at this location many times over the ten years and have had only great service and comfortable stay. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping have been friendly & courteous. There is also a great restaurant on site The Wind Jammer also had a great experience there, food is also great! So finally the hotel has clean rooms it's not the Hilton but it's just a really comfortable place! I will be back again! 🏩🌅

The Clarion faces the lake with a good view of the nearby marina. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you in any way possible. The restaurant on site is delicious and the bar is very inexpensive. The room was tidy when I arrived and kept clean during my stay. There is a fitness center on site, but I have not visited it. I would highly recommend this hotel for any visitors to the Dunkirk area.

We enjoyed our stay here completely. One of the most enjoyable parts of our stay was when we walked by the Lakeshore at sunset. Had a great cocktail on their outside patio and a lovely meal. Our room was clean and comfortable the beds were perfect. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location! Clean rooms, amazing and friendly staff. The view of the lake is stunning and the locals are by far the most welcoming and awesome people! We'll definitely be back often!

The hotel is very nice. Beautiful spot right on the water and the staff are very friendly. The girl at the front desk let my kids feed the fish and it made their whole day!

Jared, the night clerk, was exceptional. Made check-in easy and was super accommodating. The hotel room was spotless and comfortable. Worth the price and would stop here again without hesitation. Lovely.

I had a great stay at the Clarion. Nice room right on the water. Awesome place to stay for a fishing charter. Walking distance from the dock. Plenty of restaurants to choose from local with decent food including the hotel offering. This hotel comes complete with a cabana bar over looking the great lake erie. Great fishing

Hotel by the Lake on Lake shore Dr. I'm Dunkirk. Going towards Central ave. It's on your right hand side. Very clean and nice staff hotel. Food is amazing. Little pricey but the $5 Wing night/12 on Wednesdays are definitely worth it. Whether your going there to stay or just in town definitely stop in. Eat in or outside, outside has music, sometimes live band, bar, by the pool. Grey Great view of the Lake. Very nice servers!!!

the hotel was clean very nice bed was comfortable room large nice view of the lakers shore line .awsome view of sun set. very help staff the only thing is the tv .every thing the brouchure said .we could not get the reason we stayed there was the clmpany i wok for put all the enployes that attened chirsmas party they would not have to drive after drinking awsome idea

We have stayed at this wonderful hotel 5 times now and we have had a great experience every time. The hotel is always super clean and the only time it was semi-loud was when they were hosting a beauty pageant and even then you didn't hear much, they must have great insulation in the walls. We never heard the trains going through town either and there are a LOT of tracks there. There are boats in the harbor you can charter to take you out on the lake for a half or a full day cruise or fishing excursion. They always have events going on there, once a month the town even has a music festival on the pier and they are used to us tourists wandering around although it's not a huge tourist area. We feel like we found the perfect vacation spot, right on the lake but there's not thousands of people all around you. We can run up to Niagara Falls and come right back to peace and quiet. They also have a great restaurant and live music in the bar on the weekends.

Great front desk staff - knowledgeable and friendly; our room was spacious and clean, quite comfortable. We would stay here again if we're ever in that area again.

Went with a friend on Wednesday night. Ordered their wings and fell in love. They were so good and at half price, you can't go wrong. You get more than you pay for here on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4pm-9pm. I recommend you try their wings 😊 they'll have you going back for more!

I only visited the entryway and conference rooms, but everything I saw was clean, neat, well lit, and decorated very nicely. The restaurant looked very upscale, and the concierge was very friendly. I will be considering this hotel for future business and leisure needs.
