I love this store! It’s beautifully laid out and full of unique items that will add so much character to your home. It was such a surprising find when I walked in one day and it quickly became my favorite shop in Maine. The owners are super nice too!

The Kingfisher & The Queen is my new favorite store! I’ve come to the Damariscotta area since I was a girl and have had some favorites over the years but this one may take the cake. The wonderfully curated selection is interesting and the notes that Prudence sprinkles around the shop add a touch of the personal that makes the items even more enticing. I also loved the eclectic selection of books available throughout the store. It was hard not to buy everything in there (although with two visits in the course of a week last summer I tried!). I can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely loved my visit to The Kingfisher & The Queen. It is, hands down, the most beautiful shop I've seen. I found all kinds of gifts and treasures, and could have spent hours in there. Now they just need an online store or a branch in my area!

This home goods store reminds me of many I have seen in California spots like LA, where they ate legion, Joshua Tree or wine country in Santa Barbara or Napa, except of course this a very Maine version of that experience. Very well executed, worth a look-see if you are cruising the strip.
