I've always had a pleasant experience at the Lake Dallas Post Office. The staff are consistently friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Whether I'm picking up a package, buying stamps, or need assistance with mailing something a bit out of the ordinary, they always greet me with a smile. It's clear they take pride in their work and that makes this post office feel different than the sometimes impersonal feel of larger locations. I appreciate their dedication to great customer service!

The employees here are kind and patient with slow customers but are still able to manage quick service regularly. The person in front of me needed to fill up some unexpected form (as it's usually the case, and he was flustered. However, the person at the front desk was kind and explained what he needed to do. After giving him some time. The front desk lady asked politely if she could help the next person (me) while he filled up the form. This gave the originally flustered man some agency, and he responded in turn kindly to her and to me. The whole thing was just managed so tastefully and smoothly. I've seen the opposite many times in USPS offices. I felt great about humanity that day. Kudos to the kind and professional employees here.

I came to this post office two days in a row. The first day it was moving slow, but likely because it was only 2 employees and they were being helpful and thorough! One gentleman (sorry I don’t remember his name) mentioned he hadn’t had a break, but kept working through to get rid of the line. He could have left so he could go eat, but he kept helping anyone that walked up. I came in to mail a passport renewal and he was SO helpful! He went through the checklist of all the things that normally go wrong with an application (not using black ink, not signed in black ink, not certified copy of marriage certificate, no check/money order…) he was so helpful! Only I didn’t realize I needed a debit card for a money order… so I came back the next day. The line was twice as long but moved SO FAST! Ms. Rachael helped me and was equally helpful and calm and kind as the previous gentleman. Every employee was aware of people in the lobby if they looked lost or were looking for an item and directed them while helping other customers. Every single person was kind, calm, and helpful despite the angry people they deal with regularly due to lost packages.
Shout out to these hard working and lovely people! Thank you for what you do!

Those of us that live nearby and visit the Lake Dallas post office are so incredibly lucky to have this caliber of postal service available to them. I simply can't say enough about the service provided by the staff. This team is always courteous, pleasant, helpful, professional, competent and seems genuinely pleased to be of service to everyone. If more than two people are in line for counter service, another postal employee comes out to assist. I can honestly say - and I visit the post office almost daily due to my business - I have never waited in line for more than a minute or two.

Every customer is greeted with a smile and kind words. Services are performed efficiently and accurately - also with a smile and helpful guidance when needed. If ever there was a model for the US Postal Service to follow, this is it. Look no further.

The nicest experience I've had at a post office. Line moved quickly, gentleman informed me how to save a few bucks on the shipping, courteous the entire time and very expedient. I'll use this post office when I'm in town.

Quick Mail Drop. Amazing staff

THE LAKE DALLAS POST OFFICE IS THE FRIENDLIEST AND MOST HELPFUL OF ANY POST OFFICE I'VE BEEN TO IN MY 63 YEARS. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS AND OFFERING HELPFUL ADVISE. THIS ATTITUDE IS NOT ALWAYS EASY TO MAINTAIN KNOWING THE STRICT REGIMENT AND EXPECTATIONS REQUIRED BY THE US POSTAL MANAGEMENT. PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING, JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE IS DIRECT DOESN'T MEAN THEY ARE BEING RUDE.

I don't understand the bad reviews unless the reviewers do not live in Lake Dallas. I love the small size and local people.
