I hesitate to say I fell in love at first bite, the love was growing while I debated my order! Good energy, smells great and I witnessed kindness, genuine caring from the owner. I also ATE that falafel like I’ve never eaten before, it was delicious. I’m sharing a photo of the lovely Joyce’s lunch, as I got my food to go. Yo, Petaluma, don’t sleep, get some healthy and delicious Mediterranean food at Urban Deli. I’ll be back!!!

Urban Deli is so tasty! Their falafel bowl has got it all, tasty falafels, seasoned greens, turmeric rice, pickles, I LOVE it! If you haven't been here yet I highly recommend you check them out. The owners are so friendly and their food never disappoints :)

Happy that I discovered this place. It has made it to my top choices for easy on the go or sit down gyro wraps. I would highly recommend trying the wraps! We order lamb and beef and they are a pretty generous size compared to other places I go to.

Very happy with this purchase today!! We were just driving by hoping to find something to eat and stopped in here. The chocolate baklava was so buttery and delicious! And our chicken wrap was as well. Highly recommend! I thought to leave a review as I was about to scarf my last bite down, so here it is 😂

If you are just around the corner and need not only good* food, but something that is more than just good*. Stop by, get a gyro, enjoy it, because it's better(and healthier) and faster than most other food types offered in this city.

Place is amazing!!! Food is always fresh and incredible flavors. Our favorite is the chicken shawarma bowl. Just don’t eat the peppers unless you like heat ;-) Love their desserts as well.

This place is amazing! Wonderful mom n pop authentic food. Recently they were the victims of a hate crime here in Petaluma. I went in to support and they had an hour wait due to all the love from the community. Now to the food. I’ve had chicken shawarma all over and this is better than NY. LA. and SF! Love and home cooking makes the difference. Fresh ingredients and delicious balance of flavors. It is a sweet lil corner shop that deserves all the love it can get!

The shawarmas here are really good. We had the chicken and lamb shawarma with tzatziki sauce and a lentil soup. Their baklava is definitely the best one I’ve ever tried. Thank you Sam. Will be back soon!

Stopped in with my parents for lunch today and was thrilled with the genuine warmth of the owners and staff and the delicious food. The falafels were delicious and the chicken shawarma bowl had such delectable chicken and the rice was so warming and flavorful.

A wonderful experience. Kind owner. Delicious food, and comfortable atmosphere.

We tried the Mexican burger and the Chicken Wrap, and both were amazing. Both well seasoned well and flavorful. The owner was kind enough to tell us about the menu and answer any question we had.

I absolutely adore the food here!!! Have ordered multiple times and every item I've tried has been wonderful. Even my mother who's relatively a very picky eater when it comes to new food loves it. I love the gyro so much the flavors are all so complimentary and the chicken shawarma powder is just delectable!!! And the walnut baklava is definitely my favorite dessert it's a must try

Such a sweet place! Great food and great customer service! I really enjoyed the Chicken Shawarma sandwich that I got. So yummy and a good size so I felt full and satisfied and I only ate half of it so I’ll get enjoy it twice! Can’t wait to come back and try more of the items. I saw regular customers coming in and praising the food too.

My husband and I were wandering around Theatre Square debating what to each when we came across The Urban Deli. A small, non-descript shop on the Boulevard but when we walked inside the smells made us give them a go. Turns out Sam and Marla make everything fresh. EVERYTHING!

So many fresh and healthy items. The falafel bowl is our go-to when we are undecided but the beef kabob and chicken dishes are amazing. We also never leave without a large side of hummus because it's THE BEST!! The baklava is the best I've had around the world and for the holiday season they are making a fresh halva rolled in chocolate and nuts that is absolutely to die for!

I highly recommend you give this locally owned, family run business a try.

I was lucky enough to try Urban Deli today on their grand opening day (May 26th)!! I had an excellent experience. All of the staff was very friendly, the QR code menu was very useful, and the food was wonderful. Thank you very much Sam and the Urban Deli team. Excited to make this restaurant part of my weekly spots to visit!

All excellent. The food was the best middle eastern food in all Sonoma county for no saying the Bay Area! The owner it’s an absolutely talented chef. You must go there!

Absolutely lovely owners and delicious food. Family run shop that has the spirit of Mediterranean dining. I exchanged stickers with the owner’s daughter and was delighted by the pretty bathroom.

I'm struggling to find the words to describe the best gyro I've ever had in the USA and rivals the ones I've had in Greece. If you are from the Mediterranean, make sure to stop by, it will remind you of home.

Absolutely love going to this place. Would HIGHLY recommend their hummus and pita, it's a great place for baklava, and honestly just a delicious meal. Their Gyro wrap is my all time favorite, but I tried the Falafel wrap and what can I say, it hits just right.
Light, delicious, and refreshing.
